LUKE HEMMINGS: EIGHTEEN MONTHS LATER

A YEAR AND A HALF AFTER suffering a dramatic nervous breakdown, the life of the 5SOS frontman is finally looking up.

Six months ago, almost to the day, Hemmings proposed to his long-term boyfriend, Cole Marchant, on stage after a concert in New York, and he said yes!

And yesterday, the duo officially got married, according to Instagram posts and Tweets from Calum Hood, Michael Clifford, and Ashton Irwin.

Addressing his breakdown, Hemmings, his bandmates and Marchant have also set up a charity supporting LGBTQ+ people suffering from mental health issues or fears over their identity.

Marchant recently spoke about the project, citing it as 'vital to everyone in this day and age... especially with social media discourse constantly pressuring people'.
