She was trying to stop the bleeding in the arm. "My baby! She's not gonna make it! Pete!! Do something!" She yelled and took the baby in her arms. She sat down on the floor being a crying mess.
Pete quickly knelt beside Jenna and fed the baby a solution. "Please, stop her pain. Please, God." She looked up and shook my body slowly in her arms attempting to stop the pain. Her whole apron and hands were covered in blood.
She looked a mess.
The video got cut off.
"14 September 1994."
Jenna looked at the camera with a smile as she fed me a liquid solution. "Why are you making these videos, Thomas?" She asked with an eye roll.
"They need to be shown to Bayazid Khan. He wants to see the progress of the GMO." He said in an unexciting tone. Bayazid Khan, as in Shahid's father.
"God knows what he'll do to my daughter." Jenna shook her head. a pissed expression as she kept feeding me.
Pete got in the video. "Don't worry, Jenna. She'll be fine. She is strong to do anything. No harm will be done to her." He said.
Jenna sighed and forced a smile at him. "I guess so." She gazed down back at me and stroked my cheeks. "Hey, cub. You eating well?" She asked. But got no reaction from me. She sighed and a lone tear rolls down her eyes. She looked back at Pete from the back of her shoulder.
"Do you think it's fair to her?" She asked, her voice cracking.
"Jenna, I-"
The video got cut off.
"21 May 1995. So, we have been planning this forever. And today's the day." Thomas said. Jenna and Pete sitting on either side with their head down.
"We're doing this video for us. For the GMOs, we are sacrificing." Pete said.
"Yes. After making Ruby, we realized how unfair it was to her and the final GMO. We deserve punishment for what we did. So, we'll pay for our own sins. And we'll no further make their life worse." Jenna said, her eyes locked down in her lap.
"So, we're burning down the whole lab. With that, we're destroying the new solutions of the GMOs who aren't developed yet and that will save them from coming into this cruel world. But we're saving only Ruby and Hazel. We made antidotes for them. Surely, they'll be normal." Pete said with a nervous chuckle trying to stop crying but failed. He shed a tear or two.
Jenna spoke up while hugging Pete from the side, "We've decided to leave this whole dark world we got ourselves into. And with that, me, Pete, Ruby and Hazel will leave the country. And...live a normal life with our three kids. Right, Pete?" She smiled widely at Pete. He nodded his head and kissed her forehead.
"I'm doing the same. Can't wait to be a full-time dad for Harry and Gemma. And also a full-time husband for my lady." Thomas chuckled and the three started laughing with the hopes of their new life.
Jenna's laugh faded and she smiled at the camera. "So, Ruby and Hazel, if you see this one day then know that we love you more than you know it. You're special to us and in your own way. You're my babies. And you always will be my baby. Your parents always loved you."
"Why are you talking like that as if you're gonna leave them? We're gonna live with them, Jenna." Pete chuckled. Jenna just shook her head and said nothing.
The video cuts off.
"17 December 1995." Thomas opened the camera and sat in his large chair. He had a sad smile and a worried expression.
