Harry's POV

I look at Xander with wide eyes, my mouth agape and my hand reaching out for his cheeks. "How?" I ask him in disbelief. He shakes his head, a lone tear falls down his eyes. "I'm not human, Harry." He says and before he can say anything more Shahid electrocutes him making him collapse on the ground.

"Xander!" I fall down on my knees, cup his cheeks and shaking him rapidly. "Xander," I call his name and run my hand through his hair. Please listen to me. Why do I have to save you? And who are you?

I take him in my arms closely and squish my face in the crook of his neck. Tears start to roll down my eyes as I start to sob. I run my hand through his hair. "Listen," He whispers in my ear with a raspy voice making my eyes go wide. I nod my head and secure him close to my chest.

"Pathetic to see your both lovers are not human." Shahid mocks. I glare at him, look at Ruby and back at Xander. "Just listen to me." He whispers again. I gulp in the lump forming in my throat and nod hesitantly. "I'm not Xander. I'm Zayn and I'm a creature from another planet. Please,  save me and Ruby from NB. You can't do it alone. They'll kill you and everyone. Bring a team. Your team." He coughs and puts his hand in my pocket to which I furrow my eyebrows in confusion.

"It's a tracker. Find me. Okay?" He asks and before I can say anything two men snatch Zayn from my arms, his drooping eyes looking at me with a certain hope and his features show the love he had for me. The love I never believed in. But in this vulnerable condition, I found the true love for me in his eyes.

Then he mouths the words to me. The three words slowly for anyone to listen but for me. "I love you, Haz."

They drag his body on the ground and pushes him in a car before closing the door.

I get up on my feet and walk towards Ruby. She looks at me with teary eyes, her lips quivering slightly and her features tensed. "Just go, Ruby," I tell her, looking away from her. I know I won't be able to look at her eyes anymore after saying that.

"What?" Her voice chokes out.

I curl my hands in a fist and shout at her. "I don't want you. I don't want anyone. You're nothing but a GMO. And I don't want any problem with family. So, GO!" I throw my hands up in the air and mistakenly looked into her eyes. Tears roll down her eyes and stain her rosy cheeks. I've never seen her cry this much. And the fact that I made her cry makes my heart squeeze to breaking hard.

She sniffles her nose and nods her head. "I understand." Her voice breaks and she looks away from the unconscious Liam in her arms. She looks down at him with a slight smile and kisses his forehead. She turns and looks at me with a slight smile. "Take care, Harry." She says and looks back at Paul before motioning him something with her head.

Paul walks to her and Ruby passes Liam in Paul's arms before looking at me another smile. "I love you, Harry." She says and turns away from me before walking to NB. Shahid smirks and puts his hands on her waist before walking her to his car. She doesn't look back at me for once making me shake in pain slightly. I rub the tears with the back of my hand and breathe in.

After all of them are gone I turn back to look at the students. They start to leave the place one by one. I look down at my feet and wait for everyone to leave my side. How will I do this alone? I can't possibly save both of them from a huge mafia. But I have to.

I look up after a minute expecting only Paul. But there are unconscious Liam and Louis, Salim and Tessa. The conscious ones are smiling at me making me furrow my eyebrows at them. "Aren't you mad at me after what I said to Ruby?" I ask them.
