We just walk and walk without any destination. My eyes start to tear up again thinking about Paul and Ken. Before starting this mission, it never came into my mind that I'll lose someone. And now, I'm more afraid to continue.
"You guys found something?" Tessa asks, her voice clear through the earpiece.
"No," Louis replies.
"Same here," Salim sighs.
"Where are we even going?" Liam asks, groaning a little. Niall yawns and rests his golf stick on his shoulder as he continues walking in a slow and tired phase.
"We don't know," Louis replies him.
"Why isn't the tracker showing Zayn's signal?" Niall asks, his voice sleepy and faded. Before I can answer something someone appears before us making Niall let out a strangled scream and out of reflex he hits the guy hard on the head by his golf stick.
"Holy Trinity!" He screams and looks down at the now fainted bodyguard making all of us gasp in shock.
A few more bodyguards appear before us whom Niall hits with both the end of his golf stick, Liam standing right behind Niall and me and Louis standing beside each other ready to shoot them down. But I can't just shoot and kill people. It's really hard for me to do that.
"Why aren't you shooting?" Louis yells at me as he shoots down two men and shoves another gun in my hand. I gulp and look down at the two guns in my hand. "I can't kill people- "
"Fuck! Then why are you even here?" Louis snaps at me and takes a gun back from me before handing it to Liam. "Just shoot, okay?" He points his index finger at Liam making him nod in response. Louis reaches his hand behind me and grabs my waist before pulling me behind him. I clench my jaw feeling completely useless about myself.
He squishes himself at the side of the pillar and I follow behind him as he told me to. He looks at me from behind his shoulder and gives me a little smile. "Don't worry. Just try and shoot one." He encourages me before taking my hand in his left hand. He raises his eyebrows at me making me nod. He holds my wrist up at a guy who was about to hit Niall.
"Now," he commands me making me immediately close my eyes as I pull on the trigger without looking at the guy. I open my eyes slowly and see the guy wounded on the floor. He didn't let me kill the guy and I look at him wide wondering eyes. He chuckles and leaves my hand giving the power back to myself. "If you don't want to kill anyone then just aim away from the head, heart, and stomach. And also the penis." He slaps the back of my head and gives me an assuring smile. I smile back at him feeling the worry leaving my shoulder.
I gulp and nod my head as I move away from him to another pillar. As instructed by Louis I just aim at the positions that wouldn't kill the guy but wound them really bad. Feeling a stone in my heart I shoot the guys and shield myself behind the pillar.
"Hey, c'mon. Let's take this route." Louis gestures me to follow him. I grab on Niall's arms and pull him with me while Liam following closely behind him. Louis turns off the lights and grabs my hand. We run in the darkness with our body pressed closely against the wall.
"Are we-" Louis presses his hand on my mouth shutting me down. Then I hear large footsteps running somewhere. My chest rises and falls at the sound of these people nearing us. I start to calm down when I hear the footsteps fade away. Louis extracts his hands from my mouth and looks for the light in that room.
The lights turn on all of a sudden illuminating the large room. I blink my eyes rapidly at the sudden brightness of the light.
"Woah!" Liam exclaims looking around the large living room. There are two chandeliers hanging above, a large TV, sofas, and chairs decorated here and there. The carpet is red and golden in a mix.
