4.Travelling New Roads

"Why do you have to go so early in the morning bhaiya?Achha khaasa neend kharab kardiya aap dono ne!I don't even remember waking up so early in my entire lifetime,not even when I used to have soccer practice!",Rudra whined.

Om smacked him on the head while Rudra scowled in return.

"As far as I remember,I didn't ask you to get up,did I?",Shivaay arched his brow in a questioning manner.

"But bhaiya,you guys are leaving for two whole weeks!How can I not see y'all off?I'll miss you both,terribly!",came his dramatic reply.

Rudra immediately pulled Annika into a tight hug and whispered a 'I'll miss you' still hugging her.Pulling out of the hug,Annika ruffled his hair."I'll miss you too,Rudy",she said in a sweet tone,patting his cheek.

They took blessings from the elders while Pinky kept on giving them instructions about what to be done and what not,just like a caring mother.Annika listened to her instructions carefully while Shivaay kept on tapping his watch,indicating Pinky that they are getting late.But Pinky being herself,ignored him.

"Mom,we're not kids and it's not like we're travelling for the first time.Stop being so typical,alright?We gotta leave.Come Annika..Bye guys",taking Annika's hand,he lead her to the main door.

Few steps away from the door,Shivaay stopped walking and sighed heavily.Walking back towards Pinky,he held her hand."I'm sorry,Mom.It's just that,we were getting late and you wouldn't stop.It was rude of me to say so.We'll call you when we reach there,alright?And Annika will also take care of her health along with mine and I won't trouble your dearest Annika,even though she's the one troubling me all the time",he added while Annika scowled.Chuckling,he continued."I won't stress too much and will definitely enjoy the holiday to the fullest",he narrated all her instructions while the family looked at the mother-son duo in awe."Ok?Anything else?",he asked cupping her face while Pinky simply nodded,tears forming in her eyes."Why are you crying now?Why are all women in my life so dramatic?",he teased and received a light smack on his arm from Pinky while Annika narrowed her eyes.

"What do you mean by 'all',huh?How many women do you have in your life,pray tell.",Annika questioned him while he raised his hands in a surrendering gesture.

After bidding bye to the family once again,they made their way to  the waiting car with  Khanna behind the wheel.

Annika gave him a questioning look as their car passed the terminal entrance."Shivaay,why are we not getting down?",she questioned him while he was engrossed in some business magazine.

"Why would we get down here?",he simply stated and continued going through the magazine.She gave him a confused look and it only widened as the car entered a different gate and she could see that it was the runway.Annika looked around in amusement."Why are we directly here?No check-in,nothing?",she asked with a  bewildered look on her face and Shivaay couldn't help but chuckle.

"Annika,we're not taking a scheduled flight.",he explained as the car came to halt in front of a jet.

"So,you mean to say that we're taking a charter flight?",she aksed like a child which immediately made Shivaay smile.Who would believe that this is the same,fierce Annika?

"Nope,we're taking MY private jet.",he said sheepishly and  Annika's face formed a perfect 'O'.

"You own a jet?How come I never knew this.Wow!".

Shivaay gave a boyish grin at that.He traced his index finger on her face,"There are many things you don't know about me,Annika.",he said as he winked before getting out of the car.
