Falling For You

Chapter 14

14.Of Surprises and Progressions.

Shivaay felt a light weight on his shoulder the next morning as he slightly opened his eyes adjusting to the light peeping through the slit doors of the hotel room.An involuntary smile formed on his as he saw Annika sleeping with her head on his shoulder and hand wrapped around him.

She was used to his warmth during sleep.A lot of things have changed after their fight on the second day of their arrival,it's been a week to it.Although Shivaay apologised to her for being an idiot,though Annika was still apprehensive about letting it go.But they somehow did find their track back.

The enire week was spent shopping and exploring new places,they've travelled to the outskirts as well having covered up almost most of the city within a short time.It was all about exploring the city and knowing each other in a way.

Annika now knew the perfect way Shivaay liked his espresso,his favourite author and genre of music while he knew all about Annika,how she preferred slow music when she's happy or how she hates being around people when she's tired.

They've started developing a different kind of feelings for each other.They knew that they were slowing moving towards a path,a beautiful path at that.

Annika slowly opened her eyes to see him staring.She smiled at how typical her mornings were these days.She have been waking up to this ever since they landed there.

They have come so far,growing and getting used to each other and this one week was a  week full of progression for them.She was now comfortable being around him,there was no awkwardness anymore.They were more open to each other.Teasing and talking their hearts out with no barrier between them.

She was furious at him after the party,but later his gestures showed her it was indeed because his cared for her and slowly she was ready to forgive him.

"Good morning",Shivaay wished her with his morning raspy voice.

She expected him to kiss her on the forehead as always,but she was stunned to receive a peck on her cheek,for the first time.So far,he have only kissed her forehead or temple and now that he kissed her cheek,she didn't know how to react.Annika looked on as Shivaay grinned before getting up from the bed.

"Where are we going Shivaay?",Annika asked for the umpteenth time and yet again received no appropriate answer from his side,he remained tight lipped throughout the journey.

She was getting irritated with every passing second.Having spent the entire day in the hotel's private beach with Shivaay.They finally left the room by evening upon Shivaay's insistence.When asked about it,he only told her that he had some bookings.She was slightly confused when he asked her to wear something casual as she expected it to be some dinner date,but it proved her wrong.

She looked out of the window to see that they were heading towards a parking lot of some area.She was so busy in getting something out of Shivaay's mouth that she completely missed entering the area.The hotel's car made it's way through the private car section and Annika again shot a look to Shivaay and this time he indeed spoke,

"We're here for few minutes baby,this is just our first destination",he traced her cheek with his thumb for a moment before getting out of the car as it came to a halt.He opened the door to Annika's side and offered his hand to her,which she accepted gladly.

That was when she noticed the place,they were in a stadium's parking lot.She could see the stadium entrance from where they stood and a lot of people crowded there.It was more like an arena.Shivaay led them towards an area with no people around,with two bouncers guarding it,the door said VIP ENTRY,along with them stood a lady with a walkie talkie in hand.

As they approached the door,the lady directed them and Annika couldn't help but roll her eyes as they passed few doors looking at how extravagant all of these things were.Afterall,being the richest man in India had it's own perks.

Shivaay chuckled as he saw her."It's managed by an Indian based firm.Stop rolling your eyes now.I get it."

Annika smiled cheekily at him,she could hear some noise coming and she knew they were nearing wherever the lady is taking them while continuously giving instructions through the walkie talkie.

She could nownhear guitar chords and beats,her heart skipped a bit realising it.She looked at Shivaay who had her close to him with his hand on her waist.He had a boyish grin on his face.

"You'll love it",he kissed her temple as now Annika could clearly hear some song playing.

They were at a live concert,Annika have never been to one before,she have always wanted to.And today,Shivaay fulfilled her unsaid wish.

They entered the the arena with few people around in the VIP section at the top most stand.She could see a lot of people standing,crowding the entire stadium while the section they were in had very few people.They were quite far from the stage,but could clearly see it from where stood.

Annika couldn't contain her excitement as the crowd crazily cheered as the song ended.Shivaay looked at his watch for a moment."Perfect time",he said more to himself.

The lights were already off with just the spot light focusing on stage.Annika was eagerly waiting while Shivaay looked at her excited face before pulling her in front of him,he hugged her from behind and looped his arms around her waist.

Resting his chin on her shoulder,he let her heady scent hit his senses.Annika was stiff for a moment as Shivaay lightly sway them both.He placed a small kiss on her head,taking full advantage of the moment.

Just then,a string sound was heard gaining everyone's attention back to the stage.A man with a guitar emerged with the spot light on him and the crowd cheered even louder.From where they stood,Annika stood see some of them jumping with joy.She knew he was probably some famous musician but with her poor knowledge in music,she could only wait.

I seriously wanted to complete this,but it would be too long if I try to inculcate everything here.
