Falling For You

Chapter 5

I'm just so busy these days with college and stuff giving me no time to invest on things,even during weekends.So please bear with this update for now,lovely people!❤️I literally wrote this entire thing sitting in the foyer!🤧

5.The new Feeling.

The eighteen hour flight was not as boring as Annika thought it would be.Infact,she had a good time with Shivaay,who,for once he was not brooding about all the worries he carries in his shoulders.

He looked happy for some reason and that itself brought a smile on her lovely face.He had his head rested on her shoulder after shifting beside her,talking about random things.It was a completely new experience for her.

He was comfortable sharing things with her that she have never heard him talk about.Even though it was more of a friendly talk,she didn't miss him being a bit flirty at times,which was so unlike him.

Annika dozed for a few seconds in between their talk and Shivaay being Shivaay gave her an 'authoritative instruction' to take a nap.Annika told him that sleep was out of the question but her decision fell on deaf ears as he practically dragged her to the make shift bed.The large,comfy couch on the other end.

All Annika remembers after that is getting up to have some food and falling back to sleep again.She didn't realise how sleep deprived she was until that moment.

By the time they landed in Brazil,it was midnight there.Annika was fast asleep,Shivaay effortlessly carried her in his arm,making their way out of the jet.

The security guards placed their luggage in the car waiting for them,while he carried her.She stirred in her sleeping,slowly opening her eyes as he walked them towards the waiting car.Although Annika wanted to protest,she decided against it as she was kinda enjoying this treatment.Burying her face more into his masculine frame,she smiled closing her eyes once again.

Shivaay carefully placed her in the car.Making sure to not disturb her sleep he sat beside her carefully before instructing the driver.As the car started to move,he placed her head on his shoulder and she wrapped her arm around his abdomen as a reflex making him go still for a moment.

He couldn't deny the fact that she looked extremely cute when asleep with a small pout.Oh!How he wished to kiss that pout...

Shaking his head,he dismissed his train of thoughts before they could proceed.But with Annika's heady scent hitting his senses,he found it hard.

They've never been this close before,sure,they do have their fair share of trip and fall,all thanks to Annika's clumsy self.But nothing more than that.

Even though they would sleep on the exteme ends of the bed at night,they somehow manage to scoot closer during sleep and that is one thing that Annika isn't aware of,since Shivaay is always the one to wake up first.Hence,it was his own little secret of them.

Annika stirred in her sleep once again and this time,she woke up for real.Withdrawing her arm,she looked at him for a split second before turning her gaze outside the window.

She looked back at him with a bright smile,excitement clear on her face."We're here finally?",it was more of a statement to herself than a question but Shivaay nodded nonetheless.

She excitedly looked out of the window."This place is beautiful",she said soflty catching Shivaay's attention.

"This is not the real deal.The place is much better in day light and I can't wait for you to see it.",he smiled warmly.

"Did you sleep well?",Shivaay added.

Annika simply nodded."I'm sorry that you had to carry me,you could have woken me up".She said turning towards him.

"That's alright,you really don't have to apologize.Anyway,I'm used to carrying you all the time.",he winked,shocking Annika to the core.

He has been amusingly jovial since they've started this journey.
"Who are you and what have you done to my Shivaay?",she playfully said while trying to hit him on the arm.

Before she could do that,he took her hand in his and brought it closer to his face.Annika's breath hitched as he kissed the back of her hand."Well,let's just say that this is the actual 'your' Shivaay,baby".He said letting go of her hand.

The way he called her 'baby' did something to Annika.It was the first time she have been called that by him.Something about the way he said it played with her mind.Maybe it was the raspy tone,or his voice,or maybe it was her heart...

She knew that this trip was going to be a turning point in their 'just friends relationship' and she couldn't wait to see what it is.
