So, I've never actually acted out of anger when I kicked someone's ass but there's a first for everything, right? Yes, there was. Right now, I was straddling Veronica while practically choking her, and Rebecca was freaking out by yelling for help. We were outside of Benny's, the local coffee shop.

"Bailey, please! Stop!" Rebecca begged, crying.

I heard footsteps rush toward us, then Drey's voice. "Oh, shit!" she exclaimed. Then her arms were prying my hands from Veronica, who was turning a bit purple while gagging.

"Drey, back the fuck up!" Carter yelled. His hands replaced Drey's and they managed to pull me off of the little slut.

As soon as I was away from Veronica, Rebecca rushed to her side to help her. "Oh, my god, are you okay, Roni!?" she cried.

"Bail, what the fuck!?" Carter scolded me, shoving me backward a bit.

I glared at him, then looked at Veronica. "Need some fresh air?" I smirked.

She glared right back, "You need to go to mental health, you bitch!" Her voice sounded like she smoked twenty cigarettes in the past ten minutes.

"Bail, get out of here, now!" Mar yelled at me, pushing me farther away.

I scoffed, "Okay, I will." And away I went. When I got home, I grabbed the keys to my dad's old Chevy truck and just drove. I didn't know where I was going, but I soon saw the town's 'Thanks for visiting, come back soon!" sign, and smiled. I needed my own vacation, anyway.

"Excuse me, ma'am, but there's a phone call for you," the waitress said to me.

I looked up, smiled, and took the phone from her. "This is Bailey speaking," I smirked, knowing who it was.

"What are you doing at Lakefield's dad's beach?" Carter growled.

"Oh, you know, just basking in the sun with Lakefield and all that," I replied.

After a long drive, I decided to come here. I met up with Lakefield, who still ha a black eye from Drey, and I suggested that we chill together.

Carter sighed in frustration, "Do you know how freaked out Mar was when she saw your dad's truck missing? What the hell is wrong with you?"

"Well, everyone is making me look like the bitchy girl who rejected you, so I'll show all of you just how bitchy I can be," I snapped, hanging up on him. When the waitress came back, I smiled at her, "Uh, if any more calls come for me, just tell them I left already? Thanks."

She nodded with a knowing smile, "Taking a vacation?"

I nodded, "Hell, yes."

"So, why did you leave?" Lakefield asked, walking up after the lady left. He handed me a lemonade as he took a seat in the beach recliner beside me.

I nodded in thanks to him, "I choked the crap out of your sister."

He raised an eyebrow, "For?"

"For almost sleeping with Carter," I shrugged. When I sipped the lemonade, I realized it was laced with alcohol. "What's with the alcohol, Lakefield?"

Now, he shrugged, "Just thought you needed it, Harrison. Anyway, so you were jealous?"

I frowned, "No, I wasn't. I was pissed because, yet again, your sister managed to squeeze her way into my life and screw it up."

"So, you thought she messed up your life because she almost slept with Carter?" he checked.

"Yes," I confirmed.
