"Oh, god, really?" Drey smirked at me from my bedroom door.
I was standing in front of my mirror, smiling at the outfit I chose to wear today. It was a black crop top with straps and a zipper that ran down the middle, an ocean blue leather, high-waist flare skirt, and ankle-high heels that had laces. I also curled my hair a bit and styled it differently. When I saw that Drey was still staring, I rolled my eyes.
"Don't be so shocked, I got these from your closet. Hence, the blue skirt?" I scoffed.
She shrugged, "Looks like my style but, I didn't even know those were in there, to be honest. Besides, it isn't the clothes I'm surprised about, sis."
"Then, what is it?" I asked, making my cleavage a little more noticable.
"You're in heels. Can you walk even in those?" she smirked.
I scoffed again and turned to her full on. "I'm the one who taught you how to walk in these babies," I sneered.
"Yeah, but that was almost four years ago. Since then, I've never seen you use shoes that were over two inches high," she pointed out.
To prove her wrong, I walked around my room twice, then stopped to raise an eyebrow at her. "Satisfied?" I asked.
She nodded, "Yep. So, this is all for Carter?"
"This is for every guy in school," I corrected her.
"You're dressing like a slut for every guy in school... Hm, spoken like a true whore," she smiled.
I knew she was just pointing out the way I looked, but I wanted to look this way. So, she was just helping me out. "Thanks. Ready to go?" I asked.
"You really think Mar's going to be okay with what you're wearing?" she asked, following me down the stairs.
I rolled my eyes, "She only has to worry about herself."
Speak of the Devil, she stood at the bottom of the stairs, and went all wide-eyed when she saw me. "Uh, no. Get your butt up there and change," she scolded me.
I smiled and walked right to the door, "Come on, we'll be late."
Mar groaned and followed, "All I do is try to fix you guys' problems, and what do I get? Whore outfits and smokers."
"But you love us anyway, " Drey winked at her, pulling out a cigarette. "Can we pick up Niko?"
"Duh," Mar rolled her eyes.
When we got to Niko's house, Jason, Carter, and the twins were standing outside.
"What the fuck do you think you're wearing?" Carter cursed the second he saw me.
I ignored him and went to stand beside Rebecca and Riley. "Hey, guys," I smiled at them.
Rebecca smiled tightly, "Hey, Bailey." Riley's smile was more relaxed as she waved at me. When I saw that Rebecca was wearing a bracelet that I saw Jason wearing yesterday, I knew why.
"Oh, my god, are you and Jason dating?" I asked, genuinely excited for her, and for him having moved on.
She nodded, "Yeah, he asked me before we went to get you yesterday."
Remembering yesterday made me frown slightly. "That's great, you know," I smiled again.
"Okay, let's... Whoa. Hey, Bail," Niko said, looking taken back.
"Close your mouth, traitor," Drey scowled at him, taking his hand to lead him towards school.
On our way, Carter stayed far away from me. I turned to Riley, "So, why aren't you two with Veronica?"
