"Loosing a mother doesn't happen in a moment. It takes years to appreciate the impact of what's gone."-Lisa-Jo Baker

I laid on my stomach in the living room while Lui sat on the couch. By some form of miracle I was able to get him to take a break from beyblading. I had put in a movie, but I didn't really understand it. I was getting bored so I turned to Lui. "Hey Lui, do you want to watch something..." I cut myself off when I saw he had fallen asleep.

I smile and stand up to go look for another movie and a blanket for Lui. Both of us had yet to get dressed for the day, even though it was about one p.m. I was still in the grey tank top and white shorts that I slept in, and Lui was still in a loose white shirt and blue sweatpants.

I walked down the hall towards a storage room where we kept most of our dvds, but stopped when I saw our dad's room slightly opened.

He's started leaving for days at a time with us having no clue where he was going. I really didn't mind. I liked it better when he wasn't just sitting around ignoring us. I pushed the door open slightly, I hadn't been in there in years, but it still hasn't changed much. I walked inside, wanting to see what I could find.

I small box in the corner caught my eye and I walked towards it. I opened it and was amazed by what I saw. There were tons of pictures from when Lui and I were younger. Almost every one of them having our mom in it as well.

"What are you doing?" Lui's voice made me jump. "I woke up and you were gone." He says, his sentence followed by a yawn. "Come look at this." I say, positive that what he saw would answer his question.

He walks over and kneels on the ground next to me, his eyes widening slightly. He reaches forward and grabs a picture of our mom holding us in the hospital, probably only a day or so after we were born. I had my eyes closed, but Lui had one violet eye open, glaring at the camera. I laughed lightly. Even back then he had an attitude. I then looked up at my mother. She was beautiful.

I picked up another one. This one was just me and Lui. I'm pretty sure we were just around three years old, and we were both smiling in this one. I didn't know where we were, I could only tell that we were outside. My best guess would be the hill at the park.

"What's this?" Lui asks, pulling out an envelope. "I don't know. Open it." I say. He runs his finger between the small space in the top, breaking the glue to open it. He pulls out a piece of paper and unfolds it. He held it out for me to see and I began to read it.

Hello my little blue angels. I was hoping with all my heart that this day would never come, but if your reading this it means I'm no longer with you. When I first heard I would be having the two of you, I was the happiest person in the world. I knew that having two of you would mean twice the trouble, but I also knew it meant twice the love. You two have always been there for each other, and I hope you stay that way.

Lui, ever since you were born you've had a fiery attitude that no one could rival. Your spirit and passion is unlike any other, and I know it will get you far. Just remember to trust in your friends and your sister, because they will be what help you to the end.

Rin, you've always had a sense of adventure to you, and I know this town will not hold you forever. You've a passion for what you love just like your brother, and I know nothing will hold you back. Be carful in your journeys, but don't be afraid, because I know you can do whatever you set your heart too.

I've asked your father to give this to you once I've passed, and I hope that day doesn't come soon, but if it does I want you both to remember something. Never stop fighting for what you believe in, and never stop fighting for who you love. My only wish is that you keep these words close to you through out your lives.
