"Being brother and sister means being there for each other."-Unknown

|Shu's p.o.v.|

I knew Hanomi was explaining about the stadium, but I couldn't pay attention, in all honesty, I couldn't stop staring at Rin. I mean, her resemblance to Lui is striking, their practically identical with the same violet eyes and blue hair that makes my blood boil. I couldn't help but notice the minor differences though. Like how her hair didn't stand up, or how when she smiled at me earlier how she didn't have pointed teeth. She smiled, Lui only smiles evily.

That brings me to another difference, their personalities. She doesn't carry herself like Lui does, she definitely didn't seem as smug. She was confident though, I could tell by the way she talked about her skills against Lui's. And then there was the most confusing part. When she said she came come because she missed him. Never have I seen Lui embarrassed before, he wouldn't even look at any of us. I guess he's like that all the time with her by the way she laughed.

I finely pulled my eyes away and looked at the stadium with its clockwise spinning plate. "No way that's regulation." I say before Xander starts laughing. "Pretty wicked invention, if you want my opinion." He says. Then I catch something out of the corner of my eye. It was Valt, flying towards the ground. The captain from Rideout, Gabe Brunai I believe, caught him and told him something before walking away.

"And now it's time for the inaugural battle of my special cyclone bey stadium!" Zac shouts. "Me! Ooo, me! Pick me for the Psycho! I totally own this! Pleaseeees! First psycho rigth here!" Valt shouts, stars in his eyes. I close my eyes and smile. Oh Valt. "It's cyclone!" Toko and Nika yell.

"What do you think Lui? You wanna face him?" Zac asks. Lui sits down on the edge of the stage, never taking his eyes of Valt. "That's Valt Aoi, he's the captain of Shu Kurenai's team." Zac tells him. "Him? Why didn't you tell me that before?" Lui asks. "Well, some surprises are best saved for last." Zac says, glancing back at Valt who was rocking back and forth, rambling about the 'psycho'.

Gabe steps in front of Lui. "Lui, my advice is don't do it." He says strictly. "Oh?" Lui asks, wondering why. "Remember, Rideout has a policy prohibiting any offsite battles durning the national tournament. You remember of the team right? So play by the rules." Lui's on Rideout?

"Ha, I only accept an opponent's challenge if they seem like they'd be worth the effort. And here? I'm really just not feeling it." Lui says arrogantly. "Why is he so stuck up?" Xander asks. "Lui." Rin growls through gritted teeth. "What a shame, I wanted to see how Lui would handle this stadium, but looks like that won't happen. So I guess the first battle here will be me up against..." Zac cuts himself off, deciding on who to choose. "Me! Me! Me!" Valt shouts. "Good news twinkle toes I choose you!" Zac shouts, using his nickname for Valt. Let the battle begin.

|Rin's p.o.v.|

Before the match started Lui and I moved to the other side of the stage with Gabe and Shu went to stand with his team in the audience. I stood on to Gabe's left so I wouldn't have to sit next to Lui.

Both Zac and Valt launch their bey's into the stadium without a hitch. Zac rotated around the plate, not touching it while Valt went right for a rush launch. It crosses over the platform, which changed its trajectory. Usually if you can't get a hit, it means you will run out of stamina, but the platform gave the bey speed, which eliminated that issue.

It kept missing, but kept getting faster. The fact that it had enough speed to not get stuck on the platform to begin with was impressive. And they way it's been moving ever since the launch, its as if...his bey's trying to awaken! I heard Lui hum, and I'm guessing he came to the same conclusion. Valt's Bey came out of the circle one last time and came up hot on Zac's tail. It knocked it out of the stadium before hitting a wall and flying out itself. It was clear though, that Zac's bey went first.
