KATALINAS POV
I woke up this morning to the bright sunlight in my eyes. I've lived in California for a week now and the last time I saw Daniel was six days ago. I groaned as I got out of bed and went into my bathroom. I looked at myself in the mirror and decided that it would be a great idea to take a shower. I got out of the shower, washed my face, did my hair and then put on some makeup. I wasn't one for doing tons of makeup, but today, I looked like crap so makeup was a great idea. I ate breakfast and then brushed my teeth. I headed downstairs to my lobby and walked to the smoothie place. This became my workout in the morning because I would walk 10 minutes to the smoothie place. Finally I arrived and ordered my regular. I say next to a window and scrolled through Instagram. I looked up and saw Daniel Seavey ordering a drink!! I tried to not make it obvious that I was staring at him but I failed. He looked up at me and smiled. I quickly smiled back and looked back down at my phone, blushing like crazy.
"Mind if I sit here?" I looked up and saw Daniel pointing to the seat next to me.
"Um, yeah sure." I replied
"You're really pretty. I've seen you a few times and when ever I try to talk to you I always get dragged away." Daniel said to me while blushing. I looked at him for a second taking in all of his features. He was pretty tall, had very blue eyes, brown hair, and a really cute tooth gap. His voice was really soft and gentle.
"I was wondering if I could get your number or something." He said, locking his eyes with mine.
"Yeah sure my number is (insert random phone number)".
I internally screamed, realizing that the mystery boy I've been crushing on for a week just asked me for my number. He typed my number into his phone and started fidgeting with his shirt. He smiled at me and said,
"My names Daniel by the way."
I pretended like his sister wasn't following me on Instagram so I just said,
"My name is Katalina. Most of my friends call me Kat for short though."
"Okay Kat." He said, emphasizing my name.
"If your not busy."
I tilted my head signaling for him to go on.
"Maybe we could hang out at my place today."
He bit his lip nervously. I smiled and said,
"I would love to as long as we can finish our smoothies first." He chuckled and with that we finished up and headed off towards his house.
