"H-hi Emmett," I stammered. I started to blush out of embarrassment. Alice had made the introductions. He was even more beautiful in person.

Emmett looked slightly surprised I was still here, but not mad. Carlisle pulled him aside and explained to him probably why I was still here.

He looked like he released a whole bunch if air once Carlisle had finished explaining. And he did look calmer, that's for sure.

Alice took the moment to explain that he was the one who originally found me. Oh. But why would he just leave like that then? It still bothered me, no matter what was said about it.

"I'm really tired," I said meekly. "I think I'm going to go lie down."

"You look really pale Clara, are you alright?" Emmett asked.

I couldn't answer him because everything had gone black. There was a ringing in my ears, but even that faded out to nothing.

For the second time in my life, I felt like I was floating.

The next thing I knew, I was standing in a dark room. There was a man with long dark hair standing in front of me.

He was clasping my hand in his. His skin felt papery to the touch. Not right somehow. He had blood red eyes, but I wasn't afraid for some reason. I knew what he was.

"Ah, Clara. Such a shame you can't stay for the... meal."

At that moment, a young girl walked into the room. She looked to be sixteen and had the same blood red eyes.

"Aro, they're here!" She spoke to him.

"Bring them in!" He said excitedly. Maybe a little too excitedly.

The girl opened the door even wider, allowing the people to walk in. Aro motioned to me, telling me to be quiet.

"And this is the room where they used to hold the executions!" She lied smoothly to them. They didn't know the difference.

After the last person was in the room, the doors shut behind them. Some people wheeled around in terror, clearly scared. But mostly everyone else didn't pay any attention.

That is until Aro ran at them, sinking his teeth into the first human he came across. Their screams were the last thing I heard when I jolted awake.

I was breathing heavily, clearly scared out of my mind. It took a minute for my heart to slow. Once it had, I decided to take a shower.

I wanted to wash away the last of my dream. Once I finished showering and changed into my new clothes. I decided to walk around the house a little.

I made my way to Carlisle's study first. I loved the books he had, plus there was a lot of history. Most of what he had in here was passed down from generation to generation. All of it was from around the 1660's. It's amazing that any of this could really be kept that long.

The door was already open, and Carlisle was sitting at his desk. Edward was sitting in one of the chairs by the desk.

"Come in Clara," he spoke as soon as he noticed me. Which was right away.

I went over and grabbed a book off the shelf. It was about the history of London. London was where Carlisle's family originated from.

"I have to go to work now," Carlisle said. He closed the book on his desk and put it away. "I'll see you two later, goodbye."

"Bye!" I called out.

I tried reading, but I couldn't concentrate.

"What's wrong?" Edward asked me.

"I had a stupid dream. It's nothing."

"Was it a bad dream?" Edward said while smirking.

"No. It just seemed so real!"

"Tell me, what was it about?"

So I told him, mentioning the room, the girl and what she looked like, and even Aro. Then I mentioned what had happened when I had woken up.

Edward looked slightly scared, but it passed as quickly as it came. Almost like it wasn't there at all.

"I'm sorry. Hey, I'll be right back ok? I just need to use the bathroom. And while I'm at it, are you hungry?"

"Uh, yeah," I replied.

"Ok, I'll get you something." And then he was gone.

Ten minutes later, Edward came back with biscuits and gravy. "This is ok right?" He asked me.

"Yeah! This is perfect!" I love this! But my mom always said it was a man's food. That's dumb.

Edward watched as I ate. Once I was finished, he grabbed the plate and left the room.

He returned, and Alice was following him.

"What's up?" I asked her.

"I need to get you dressed!" She commented.

"I am dressed," I pointed out.

"No silly! Something with a little more pizazz! We're going somewhere today. All of us!" And then she led me off.

I turned to Edward mouthing 'help me!' but he just laughed quietly. He held a hand up to his ear, mimicking the 'I can't hear you!' thing. Jerkwad I thought. I could've sworn he laughed like he heard that.
