I awoke to a knock on the door to my room.

"Come on mom... just five more minutes?"

"Clara!" Alice called out.

And with that, I jolted fully awake. My heart hurt all over again, and just when I thought I was getting over my loss. "I'm awake, Alice."

"Ok, good. You should go talk to him, like right now. Hurry!"

"Alright, alright... Just let me shower first, ok?"

"Fine, but I am timing you!" I heard her sigh.

"Yeah, yeah..." I grumbled. Stretching, I climbed out of bed to find an outfit had already been laid out for me. "Thanks, Alice!"

I heard her musical laugh from down the hall.

Quickly jumping in the shower, I washed my hair and scrubbed my body. I shut off the water and towel dried my hair as best I could. I threw on my clothes, and they clung to my body.

Next was my hopeless hair. I quickly ran a brush through it and then decided to make it more appealing by braiding it. At least it looked better, I thought.

"Times up!"

"I'm done," I said as I opened the door.

"Give me those!" She grabbed my dirty clothes out of my hands and shot off to get rid of them. Soon enough, she was back. The only sign she'd really left was the slight, unnatural breeze. "Now let's go!"

I marched down the hall, towards Emmett's room. Not bothering to knock, I walked right in.

"Woah! What are you doing, Clara?" Emmett looked furious.

"Well, what do you expect? You won't talk to me any other way!" I shot back.

"Have you thought maybe I don't want to talk to you?"

"Well.. yeah, but.." he cut me off.

"Have you thought that maybe I don't like you?!" He roared.

"You don't.."

"Have you thought that maybe I don't want you around?"

"I got the point.." my voice cracked as I tried to hold back my tears.

"You've turned my family against me. Now get out of my room you stupid girl."

I wheeled around in a hurry to leave, tears spilling down my cheeks. I couldn't stop them. Thankfully, I didn't see anyone as I made my way to the stairs and out the front door.

I ran. I ran until my lungs burned for air. I ran until my legs felt they could move no more, and then I continued to run. I didn't know where I was going, but it was getting dark out, and I soon realized I was lost in the woods.

I didn't care if I got found or not. Regardless, I was panicking. This didn't help me at all. Just my luck. Just my life.

Sitting, I heard a snapping of twigs. My mind raced with thoughts of what it could be, but I was uncertain and scared and alone. Maybe it's a deer?

I tried to calm myself with that thought, when I saw the one person I never expected to see again, step out from behind a tree.

"Hello, Clara." He had a sadistic smile playing on his face. I gulped in response, unsure if I could speak or not. "Now I know, you remember me."

"You're eyes.." I squeaked. I didn't think what I said was very intelligible, but Allan heard me just the same.

"Oh, I know. Aren't they striking against my skin?"

"When...?"

"Not long after you left on your 'trip'. Where's your mother? Oh, wait... I know exactly what happened to her. I know where you live. I watch over you every night. I want you, Clara..."

"Want me? How?"

"I don't want to kill you. I just WANT you... Your mom was nice... but I bet you'll be even better if you know what I mean."

Allan disappeared before grabbing me from behind. I tried to scream until he covered my mouth with his ice cold hands.

"This will only take a minute," he whispered in my ear before he threw me at a tree. I was dizzy as I watched him slowly walk closer to me, pausing for just a second to stare down at me. Then he placed his foot on my left leg, stepping down hard. I felt my bones snap and tried to stifle my scream. It didn't work. "Shut up! The only scream I want to hear is the one where you will be screaming my name."

"No..." I sobbed.

"All you are is a filthy whore, Clara. You and your mother both. But I'll fix that. You'll be mine."

I tried to move, but my leg hurt so much. That's when I saw him start to unbuckle his pants. "You. Will. Be. Mine. Clara." he spoke in a low whisper.

"Never."

Allan laughed as he grabbed ahold of me, pulling my pants down. I struggled, but he won out, parting my legs. Placing himself between my thighs, he stared at me with lust. Pervy old man. Then he whispered, "oh shit..."

Out of nowhere, something smacked him hard. It sounded like a boulder hitting another boulder, and he was thrown at another tree. I tried to quickly pull my pants up. That's when I noticed I was bleeding, and it wasn't from my leg.

I put a shaky hand on my head, and that's when I felt the pain. Pulling my hand away, it was coated in blood. I looked up, where I saw Emmett and Allan fighting.

"Help," I croaked in barely a whisper.

"Shhhh, Clara. Everything will be ok." Carlisle spoke, besides me. The others came into focus, then.

"We'll take care of him," Edward spoke darkly, nodding at Carlisle. That's the last thing I remembered before I passed out.
