Late

I had only stayed at my new club long enough for one drink and to let the staff know about the change in management.

Brian stayed behind to clean everything up and watch the club while I went home.

Climbing in my car I drove home and like everynight that I'm out late Martha had the lights on and was waiting up for me.

Martha knew never to ask about the buiness I did and just ushered me into my room before pushing me into my bed.

I chuckled as I sat up to pull off my shoes and pants and crawled under the covers.

Over the years I had learned to block out some of the horrific things I had done. If I hadn't I would never sleep.

When I woke up the next morning I looked over at my clock and saw that I would be late to school.

I hopped up out of bed and took a quick shower, threw on my clothes and shoes and dashed down the stairs where Martha had two energy shakes waiting for me.

"Why didn't you wake me?" I asked as I opened the first one and chugged it down.

"You needed the rest." Was all she said and I went over and kissed her cheek before running into the garage and hoping in my car.

My usual tail was following me.

Pulling into the parking lot I was actually happy that I was late so no one was staring at me.

As soon as I walked into class all eyes were on me as I handed the teacher my late slip and made my way to my normal seat at the back of the room.

Class seemed to be taking forever as the teacher dronned on and on about history.

When the bell rang I was one of the first one out of the door. Before I could walk into my next class I saw her at the end of the hall standing by a locker.

Switching my direction I made my way over to her and wrapped my arms around her waist from behind and placed a soft kiss on the side of her neck.

"Goodmorning Amanti." I whispered in her ear and she shivered.

Releasing her I stepped back a little so she could turn around before pulling her back to me.

"Morning." She said and blushed and I chuckled.

Placing one hand under her chin, I tilted her head further up and leaned down to place a soft kiss on her lips.

It was supposed to be a quick kiss, but when I felt her lips moving against mine I had to kiss her more.

Her hands clenched in my shirt on my sides and I pulled her closer as our kiss deepened. I backed her up against the locker and pressed her up against it as we continued kissing.

Someone clearing their throat from beside us broke us out of our spell. I gave her one last peck before I pulled away and looked at the interupter.

It was the same boy from before, the one who had glared at me and Avery said she had a date with. He was currently looking at me with that same glare and I rolled my eyes and saw that alot of people had stopped what they were doing to watch the two of us.

I looked back down at Avery who had buried her face in my shirt, trying to dissappear and I chuckled.

"Come on babe, I'll walk you to your next class." I said and led her through the staring crowd and away from the boy.
