S- Meet

I had picked Avery up early that morning so we could get to school on time and because I loved driving with her next to me.

I had spent the entire weekend with her and we had gotten closer and we had a really good time together.

"Morning." She said when I met her at her door and she gave me a quick kiss on the lips. Opening the car door for her, she slid in and was buckled in by the time I got around to my side.

Driving to school, I hopped out first and opened the door for her and she giggled as I took her hand and helped her out.

"What?" I asked as I slung our bags over my shoulder and laced our fingers together.

"You're such a gentleman." She said and I bowed my head as she continued giggling and led her into the school. People stared at us as we walked pass but I was proud when Avery held her head high and ignored them.

No one really bothered us the entire day except for one girl who approached Avery and asked her if we were really dating. At lunch time we had an entire table to ourselves and I honestly enjoyed our privacy.

After school, I walked with Avery outside to the team bus so we could ride along with the rest of the team to the meet and we sat in the middle as we rode to the school.

When we got to Vido High we saw that there were still a lot of students hanging around after school and as soon as our bus pulled up they stopped and looked at us. As everyone pilled off the bus they all started whispering about us.

We got to a locker and changed into out swim suits and and some sweats over it until it was time for us to swim and went back towards the pool area after placing our bags down.

Walking into the swimming pool area, I wasn't surprised to find the bleachers packed with students. This school was big on sports and very competitive, surprisingly I also found some people from our school in a small section of the stands.

I sat on the bench along with the rest of our team and our assistant coach as the announcer started his announcements and welcoming everyone.

As soon as he was finished speaking they called up the first set of swimmers. The first races went by quickly and our schools alternated between the wins. When Avery's turn came up I stood with her as she took off her sweats and handed them to me, I was sort of distracted when she pulled off her pants and was to busy staring at her legs to realise she was handing me her top.

I heard a throat clearing and looked away from her long legs and into shining blue eyes that held laughter in them as she raised an eyebrow at me and I shrugged my shoulders and took the jacket from her.

"I'm not even going to pretend babe. Your legs are sexy as hell." I said and she blushed before playfully slapping my arm and pulling on her cap as she walked to where her opponent was waiting and I stared again.

"Your ass too." I said a little loudly and a few people turned to look at me but I kept eyes on Avery's backside as I knew she was blushing like crazy.

She reached the starting point of the pool and pulled down her goggles and I folded my arms over my chest to watch her match. The girl she was racing against was my height with thick arms and legs and I could only imagine how much they help her in the water but I only smirked because I knew my baby had this in the bag.

The ref. blew the whistle and they both got in position and as soon as the whistle blew again the both dived beautifully into the calm water. Swimming for a while under the surface they both emerged and started with their strokes.

They stayed even until they went under again and pushed off the wall for their return swim. Avery came up first and like the first time I watched her swim, it was if the water was parting for her. It was so beautiful the way she moved that I didn't even know the race was over until I saw her pulling herself out of the pool.

Snapping out the trance she had put me under I ran over to her with a towel and as soon as she got out wrapped it around her shoulders and gave her a kiss on the nose that made her blush and duck her head.

"Good job babe." I said as we walked back to the bench and sat down but a I had to get right back up because a I had completely forgotten that it was my turn.

Avery laughed at me as I took my sweats and quickly ran to join my opponent by the pool. Slipping on my goggles I got in the ready position as the first whistle went. When the second came we both dove in and as soon as I hit the water I forgot about my opponent and just swam.

Before I knew it I was on my return trip and then reaching the wall as the whistle blew again. I climbed out the pool to the entire room being in silence and I looked around before looking back at the pool to see my opponent still in the water. She was floating at the halfway mark and was staring at me with her mouth hanging open along with everyone else.

Shrugging my shoulders I walked pass my coach who patted me on the shoulder before I reached Avery who was also looking at me in awe.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" I asked and she continued staring at me.

"That was amazing. Do you know how fast you just moved?" She asked and I shrugged.

"It wasn't that fast. I can go much faster." I said and her jaw dropped along with anyone else who happened to be near.

"What?" I asked again into the quiet room.
