"Don't shoot!!" I yelled, running forward, and stepping in front of the soldiers with guns.

"They're with us," Tony said, moving forward as well. The new arrivals had dazed looks on their faces, but not as much surprise written on their faces as 1940's Steve. His jaw had dropped lower than I thought humanely possible. I suppose anyone would be surprised to have another one of themselves show up out of nowhere. It did however make a convincing point in our earlier argument of Steve not aging a day. He would surely believe us now!

"Stand down," said Howard while dismissing the armed men for the second time in one day, and for the exact same situation on top of that! "Tony, explain exactly who these people are, and quickly because we don't have much time," Howard commanded harshly, earning a scoff from his son. "These people are my team of Avengers, though this isn't all of them, we seem to be missing sparkles. Anyway, this is Clint Barton, aka Hawkeye; he's extremely skilled with an arrow, and is an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D." Clint waved his hand, still clearly confused on what was happening. Dad continued, "This is Natasha Ro-" he was cut off by a glare from Nat, who clearly didn't want strangers to know her real name. "Who goes by Black Widow, she's another Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. and is very deadly," he said for the save. Wouldn't want Natasha murdering him later for telling people who she was. Natasha nodded her head, but still held tightly to the gun she had pulled out sometime earlier in defence of battle. Peggy stood at attention in front of the other two shield agents, "I am agent Peggy Carter of SHIELD, I take it SHIELD is still operative in the future?" She stated formally.

"Of course," answered Natasha, "we will always exist, so long as there is evil," she said in the stiffest and creepiest way possible. I thought of Illuminati at that moment, it would make sense if SHIELD was actually illuminati in disguise!

"Cool," dad said dismissing the weirdness of their cultish discussion, "moving on now. This is Bruce Banner, leading scientist in gamma radiation-"

"Why is a scientist on a team of superheroes?" questioned Howard, cutting Tony off. It was a reasonable question...if you didn't know the answer. Knowing that he turned into a giant green raving monster would definitely be an obvious fit for a super human team. Bruce responded to the question, "I may have tampered with radiation in a way I probably shouldn't have....ever heard of the Hulk?"

Howard answered with a no making the Avengers shocked. They all turned to look questioningly at Tony. "Its a long story," he said, "and last but not least, and you should know this one, Steve Rogers, aka Captain America. From the future......yayyy..."

Steve was staring forward with a hurt expression on his face. I followed his gaze and realized that it fell upon Peggy. Oh boy, this was not good. He had practically died during his own timeline and lost the love of his life in the process, staring at her now ought to  hurt like hell. He still didn't know he was in the past though, and is probably thinking that he's seeing ghosts or something.

However, there is one thing that is good apart from all the sadness and stuff! Now that we had the avengers, we could easily take down the German planes! And Dad seemed to be thinking the exact same thing; he turned to Howard, "Listen, with the Avengers here we can easily take down the planes headed for your lab. Send us, we'll remove them from the sky safely...and afterwards we'll work on getting us back to our own time!"

Howard nodded thinking, "I don't know what you're capable of, are you sure you can do this?" He had to know if they could really handle it before sending them and ruining everything.

I nodded happily, "of course we can!" The question wasn't directed at me, but I knew the answer anyway so I figured I could help clear the confusion. I was definitely going and seeing this for myself.

Dad scoffed, "nu-uh Peter, there's no 'we' , you'll be staying here at the base, away from the big bad world war 2. It's not safe for kids."

"Dad!!!!" I whined. I didn't see a reason why I couldn't go, it's not like this was anymore dangerous than some of the stuff I handle back at home. Simple war planes to take down? How hard could it be?

"Let's get back to the bigger picture Tony," said Natasha, "what the hell is going on? Where are we?"

"Yeah and what do you mean by World War 2?" Added Bruce.

I shared a look with Dad, it was a difficult discussion and a long one at best....but we really needed to hurry and catch the planes before something bad happened. The best we could do was explain the situation quickly and simply and hope they would understand enough to help. I faced the four avengers that had just appeared, they had a wide arrangement of looks, from anger to frustration, and from boredom to shocked. Steve looked a little heartbroken as well. But it was times to toughen up and break it to them the hard way; "listen guys," I began to say, "the magic rock thingy of science in our lab transported us back in time to when Steve was the actual age he looked, hence there being two of them."

I Pointed at Howard, "this is my Grandfather, Howard Stark. We are still in New York and right now World War 2 is going on outside. There are some German planes headed for a highly nuclear and explosive base of Howard's design, and we need to stop them. There are five in total so with 7 of us it should be fairly easy."

Shocked looks spread across the four faces, but they seemed to quickly accept it at the news of danger. Clint shrugged in slight unfazed boredom while Bruce scratched his head in confusion. Natasha was ready for whatever battle came her way in whatever time period it was. Steve was still lookin sad, he'll get over it I'm sure.

"Hold up Peter, what do you mean by 7 of us?" Questioned Dad with an angry look, realizing down thing a little off from my speech.

"Natasha, Clint, Bruce, Steve, uh....other Steve, you, and me!" I said with a grin. It seemed like pretty easy counting to me!

"You're not going, that makes it 6," Tony said sternly. I grinned even more, "you know you can't stop me." He could totally stop me if he really tried, and by that I mean he's have to send at least 5 of his iron man suits to attack me. Even then I don't think they'd be able to stop me from joining what will probably be the most epic battle in my life. German war planes during the actual war, and fighting wth the Avengers! It happens a lot less than people think, I was definitely going.

Dad sighed profusely, showing that he was annoyed, "dammit Peter, you can watch from afar with Howard and Agent Carter, and that's all!"

"I'll wear the suit. Just in case of course!"

Dad wagged his finger in my face with a glare, but he couldn't help but let it turn into a smile. He laughed a bit, "you'll be the death of me kid." He turned to the avengers, "alright, let's go knock some war planes out of the sky."

"Sounds like fun!" I exclaimed.

"It's not fun," Howard said weakly in the back ground (as the scene faded away.)

"No it's definitely going to be epic," I added last moment.
