A Friendly Visit
Okay, now normally I would be happy that it was the weekend, but I just can't seem to be happy. Maybe it's because I know my life will never be normal. Especially with Harry in it.
I mean, vampires don't exist. They couldn't. They don't.
To make things better, the number one person who hates me just so happens to be a blood sucking monster. How fortunate.
My life is just treating me lovely.
There was a quiet knock on the door and I prayed it was my baby brother. I called for the knocker to come in. Seconds later, my door was opened and his face appeared in the doorway.
My heartbeat accelerated faster than ever thought possible.
"Good morning, darling." His husky, heavy voice brought so much dread and hatred resurfacing in my body when it was supposed to be my day off from people I despise. "You're still in bed?"
I just stared at him in response. "Where's mom?" I choked.
"She's downstairs," he said, sitting beside me on my bed.
Please, God, don't.
"You look so tense," he noted, rubbing my thigh. "Need a stress reliever?"
"No," I whispered, closing my eyes. Of all times, when I'm vulnerable and confused. "I'm okay."
"Are you sure? You look like you could use a massage." At the mention of massage, I could feel him pulling my blanket from my shoulder.
"I said I'm fine," I demanded, pushing his hand away and sitting up in the bed. He glared at me, obviously not liking my response.
"Lie back down," he growled. I just sat here, staring at him angrily. Why can't you just leave me alone? My mother's right downstairs you asshole! "I said lie down!" he demanded, pushing me down onto my back.
"Please," I whispered, already feeling myself give up. I had to every time. Either that or face punishment.
"Shh," he whispered, letting his hand trail down my neck, to my chest, and down the valley of my breasts. "So beautiful."
"Kamie, Harry's here!" Justin yelled, bursting through my bedroom door. My dad immediately pulled away and looked at my baby brother.
"Hey little man," he smiled, standing up. Just as he stood another figure was entering the room.
I can't say I've ever been so happy to see Harry in my life. God, thank you!
"Good morning, sir," Harry nodded towards my dad.
My dad looked at Harry and nodded, saying, "son." With those words, he looked at me before leaving the room.
Justin climbed on my bed and smiled at me. I immediately broke down and grabbed my baby brother, crying into his shoulder.
"What's wrong Kamie?" he asked, pulling away and looking at me. His eyes stared into mine as though he were trying to understand me. I wish he could understand me.
"Thank you," I cried, pulling him back into the hug. He didn't pull away this time. "You too, Harry, thank you."
Although, I thanked him, I refused to look at him. I didn't want to acknowledge the fact that he was witnessing my break down. I felt the bed dip down.
"Let's get you out of here. Breakfast?"
I finally looked at him, sniffling in the process. "You're not going to laugh at me?" I asked in a hushed voice, still rubbing Justin's back.
