Captain Porkers
I sat in my room, staring at the wall. I had been doing this for a while now after I ate my McDonald's, which was still hot when I grabbed it. He must have gotten a few minutes before I woke up.
While I was sleeping, I found myself dreaming about Louis. It was strange. He was like this monster kind of thing. I don't know how to describe it, it's just, I don't know. I guess I'm just overreacting. It was a dream anyway. Nothing too serious.
Thinking about it, that bitch Alexandria deserves to get punched in the face. She hit me in my face. My eye is still discolored and it makes me made just thinking about what I looked like. I don't want to look in the mirror or at anybody else. I just want to beat the living shit out of her.
Rolling over, I stared at Justin's empty bed. If course he wasn't in here. He never is.
I sat up and looked at the door. Someone had just knocked on it. Whoever it was, didn't wait for me to answer because they just walked in. Michelle stood in the doorway before coming in and shutting the door behind her.
"So," she began, lying in the bed beside me. "Are you going to tell me who the bitch is that did this to you?"
I laughed, shaking my head. "It was one of Louis ex girlfriends. She got mad because she thought I stole him from her."
"I swore I thought you two were a thing. Are you guys together?" she asked, looking at me questioning me. I sighed, sitting up straighter in bed.
"Let me tell you how this all happened." I told her everything apart from Harry and Liam being vampires. I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact they actually exist. But they do and Liam and Harry were walking proof.
"That's crazy. So that's why you're not with your parents," she nodded. She already knew about my dad because it started way back in California when he first became comfortable with the idea. I eventually broke down in front of my best friend and told her everything.
She told me I had to call the police, but he's my dad. And he was the on taking care of my family then. Lately, my pregnant mother has been doing all the work. My dad's new job brought us here, I don't know if he still has it though.
"Yep," I nodded, looking at her. "Now I'm stuck here, and I have no problem with it." There was a quiet knock on the door, grabbing our attention. "Come in!"
The door opened and Louis appeared. We both looked at him silently. "Do you mind if I have a moment with Kamber, please?" he asked politely. Michelle looked at me with a sly smile before climbing out of the bed. I watched her leave the room, closing the door behind her.
"Hey," I whispered, watching him walk over to the bed. He sat down in front of me. "Thank you for the Mc-" I couldn't finish my sentence before his lips were pressed against mine, silencing me. I was surprised, but I kissed him back, nonetheless.
He pulled away and pressed his forehead against mine, looking me in the eyes as I stared back breathlessly. "I'll be sure she doesn't bother you again," he whispered, tucking a loose strand of hair from my ponytail behind my ear.
"You don't have to do that," I shook my head, pulling away from him. "That won't be necessary. I can take care of myself."
"Kamber, this girl- this girl you can't stand up to. She's got issues."
"Yet you dated her," I pointed out. He looked at me, his lips forming a thing line. He wasn't expecting me to point that out. "Louis, I appreciate you trying to protect me or whatever it is you're doing, but I'll be just fine. I'm sure of it."
