Alexandria A Crazy Bitch

I quietly sat in the library working on my homework for class. Mr. Crenshaw allowed me to leave class to go work on it since I finished my work ahead of time. I left Harry and Louis, neither of them noticing I was leaving. It was okay with me.

Typing on the computer to get the last few sentences down, something or someone caught my eye. I looked over and saw someone standing by the bookshelves, looking at the books. He seemed so engrossed, I figured I'd better not bother him.

Going back to my typing, I was lost in the writing. It was creative writing class and I was writing a story about two teenage girls going into hiding after finding their parents brutally murdered in their mansion.

They had packed some clothes and took any everything remotely expensive and they could later use, along with the money they carried around in their wallets. The older sister got them caught in a situation and they ended up staying with their parents' killer without knowledge. The killer knew who they were and took them in to live with him and his son.

Now, the story was supposed to be a lot shorter than I was making it, but I suck at short stories. I do like to write, but there's no way I can fit my ideas into five to ten chapters. I need more time and space.

Mr. Crenshaw said he expected a whole book from me since I was taking more time than given. I happily accepted and began writing until my fingers felt they would fall off any second. Let's just say that that is a lot of writing. I have only a couple more weeks before I have to turn it in.

As I was writing down thoughts as they came to me, a voice completely threw me off track. I turn to see who was talking to me. "I'm sorry. I don't mean to snoop," the boy that was recently by the bookshelves said.

I could only smile in response. I sat, waiting for him to finish. "I don't normally snoop, but you just seemed so into what you were writing, I had to steal a few sentences. Sorry."

"Oh, I don't mind," I replied, turning my chair completely around to face him. "Due to your snooping, anything interesting to you?"

"Definitely," he smiled, sitting in a chair in front of me. "Holden seems like he doesn't know whether to choose his father or Paisley. What's the relationship between Holden and Paisley?"

"They had recently met before his father took Paisley and her older sister in. He doesn't exactly know what his dad did."

The boy leaned a little closer to me with his brows furrowed. "And what exactly did his father do?"

"Now, now, you'll have to read the story to find that out," I said, smirking at him. He wasn't about to get a cheat that easily. One thing about this boy is that he's definitely cute.

"When can I read it?" he asked, leaning back in his chair.

"How about when you give me your name. That's sounds like a good start, yeah?" He smiled, shaking his head at her.

"Brian. Brian Stanfield."

"Well, Brian Stanfield, I'm Kamber Hines."

"It's very nice to meet you, Kamber. Now, about your story."

+++___+++

"Why are you smiling so hard?" Harley asked as we sat down at our table in the cafeteria. "You've been cheesing all day."

It was true. Brian turned out to be really awesome. We had talked since the class period ended and even in p.e. He was new here. Really, funny and cool and super cute. We talked about my story and then we talked about a lot of random things.
