"Are you used to it? Living with Kasamatsu-senpai?" Kise asked during their coffee break.
Today's photoshoot focused on the beach theme. Kise was wearing a light blue swimming boxers shorts while Kanata wore a light blue bikini. They have been working together quite often ever since she moved to Kanagawa. She's also earning good money too.
"Kasamatsu-senpai is a good guy." Kanata sipped her coffee. She loved the aroma and the cream on top of her coffee. "We kissed."
"You what?! Wow! You really like senpai!"
"He is shy though. I'm breaking him out of his shell."
"Good luck to you, Harukacchi!" Kise laughed out loudly.
He soon clamed down more and he smiled gently at Kanata. She's changed. She became more sociable than before and she's smiling more often. Falling in love looked like a sweet thing and it's going well for her.
"I never had someone going this far for me before... I pushed everyone away from me but he kept coming to me. I thought he was a little annoying, you know?"
"Senpai really likes you, Harukacchi."
"Maybe it's fate?" She asked him.
Kanata wondered if everything was decided from the very start; meeting Kasamatsu last year, losing her mother, Kasamatsu and her reuniting yet again... She wondered what will be next for them. Could there be something more?
"Kanata-san, you have a visitor here." A member of staff called for her. Kanata mouthed a 'Be right back' to Kise and she went off to find a shirt and a pair of shorts before she went to see her visitor.
'I wonder if it's Kasamatsu-senpai...' Kise laughed, picking up a magazine so he can do some reading.
Kanata walked out of the photoshoot room and she saw a familiar relative from her childhood.
"Uncle?" She made Kazuhiro look at her.
"Hey, Kanata. It's been a long time, huh?"
"Very long!"
Kanata was very young when Kazuhiro always visited his brother. Kanata doesn't have much memories of her uncle but she was happy whenever he came because he spoilt her with many toys and candies that her own father wouldn't get for her. One day, her uncle's visits cut shorter and shorter to he never came again. She wondered why that was but she assumed he was busy. Seeing him again brought warm memories of the time her mother was still alive.
"You have grown up. How is work?"
"It's pretty easy actually, I enjoy what I am doing."
"That's good to know. Hey, why are you in Kanagawa anyway? Shouldn't you be spending time with your father?"
"Don't mention that man. I've ran away actually."
"You have? Wow, I have been missing out a lot." Kazuhiro laughed. "Hey, where are you staying?"
"I am staying at a friend's house for now."
"Ah. Hey, do you still remember your grandmother?"
"Of course I do."
"You see... She is very ill and she's got sent to the hospital. The medical expenses are skyhigh."
"What happened to grandma?!"
"She's got a tumor in her head." He sighed heavily. "She doesn't want any visitors either... She's making it hard for me."
"Uncle..."
