Kasamatsu took Kanata to a nearby clinic so they can clean their wounds. The cuts to her wrist was not deep enough to be fatal, which was a good thing. The doctor helped bandage the wounds after cleaning it and even gave some talk for Kanata. 

"If you really took your life, you will miss what's really important in front of you."

"Doctor..."

"That boy out there is your boyfriend, right?" 

"Yeah." 

"I am sure he will be very upset if you are dead. You should appreciate being alive." 

"What if living becomes too much?" 

"I used to be like that too." 

"You did?" 

"Yeah. My parents split up when I was little, I was bullied for being too smart, I was not part of the popular clique... I did think of killing myself but I met a special person. That person encouraged me to go on." 

"..." So the doctor met someone like Kasamatsu in his life too...

"That person today is my wife and my assistant nurse." The doctor smiled as he finished the bandaging. "You are still young and I am sure you can overcome your troubles. No matter how far you have fallen, you will be able to reach the light, okay?" 

"Thank you..." 

"That boy is worried about you. Why don't you try and greet him with a smile?" 

Maybe she should do what the doctor said...

Kasamatsu sighed in his seat. He was a little worried and scared. He doesn't want to see her trying to die anymore... He doesn't want to lose her... He doesn-

"Senpai..."

A hand on top of his own, Kasamatsu looked at her to see a smile on her face. He wondered why she was smiling at him but it made him smile a little. He looked at her bandaged wrist and then at her eyes again. 

"What's with the smile?" 

"I wanted to greet you with a smile." 

"That is a nice greeting." Kasamatsu smiled back. "Are you ready to go?" 

"Yeah..." 

They received many weird looks from other people due to the dry blood on her clothes but they didn't mind the stares at all. The two of them took a bus back and they talked about today. 

"I rescued you again..." Kasamatsu suddenly said. 

"You did..." 

"Suicide is a permanent answer to a temporary problem but can you let me find you another answer?" In other words, he's going to help her out. He's not going to let her fall into the darkness without doing something about it. He wanted to see her happy and he will be able to do just that for her.

"I'm worried and scared. I no longer know if what you are saying is actually true or if you are saying that to me out of pressure." 

"Kanata..." Was she starting to think that she's not good enough for him? Was she starting to think he's only with her out of the pressure that she would kill herself if he's no longer her hope?

"I don't think I deserve senpai's love..." Her tears were brimming. He reached a hand to catch her tears and wiped them away when they flowed. 

"I am with you not because I feel I have to. I am with you because I love you."
