The Day

Erika's POV
The past month has been pretty good.With Jake by my side....I am honestly super tired of being in bed all day,but anything for baby girl.Today is the day we have been praying for...It's the day of the C-Section...Iam really nervous..I really hope that everything goes well and that baby girl comes out safe and sound...The Doctor told us that the baby has been doing amazing..He said that most babies don't make it to the day of the operation....He said that things can still go wrong which still scares me,but Iam hopeful that she will come out safe and sound......Jake and I have been praying for her....And we are about to leave....
As Jake and Erika walk to the car.Everyone is there as they leave...
Tessa:Good luck E
Erika:Thanks Take care of my little ones
Tessa:Of course
Tony:Good Luck OHIO!!!!!!!
Jake:Thanks Bro.Bye
Jake and Erika head to the hospital.On the car ride there Erika holds Jake's hand tightly
Jake:Everything is going to be ok babe
Erika:I hope so
Jake:Just have faith that this(runs Erika's belly)little one will be ok
Erika:(smiles)

Erika:But we can't have anymore after this one
Jake:(as he continues to rub Erika's belly)Never say never.Babe....

They arrive and head inside......They get Erika ready for the operation and Jake gets in the gown so he can be there.As they wait for the operation.Erika lays on the bed and Jake is next to her with his head near her belly as he continues to rub it.
Jake:(to Erika's stomach as he rubs it)Baby Girl.You will fight and come out nice and healthy.So you can meet big brother and big sister.Also so you can meet All of your aunts and uncles..And grandmas and grandpas...You got this(kisses Erika's Stomach And then continues to rub it)
Erika has tears running down her eyes....Finally they take her in and they begin the operation.1 and a half later the baby is here....They show her to Jake and Erika
Jake:(crying with tears of joy)We did it babe(kisses Erika)
Erika smiles and cries at the same time.They take the baby to get checked and they take Erika to a room where her and Jake Wait...The Doctor comes in
Jake:Doc.Is everything ok
Doctor:She will be placed in the NICU for a while
Jake and Erika look at each other
Erika:(crying)Will she be ok?
Doctor:We aren't sure
Jake:What is the problem...Why is she in the NICU?
Doctor:respiratory Problems...
Jake:Is she going to be okay?
Doctor:We aren't sure,but we will give her the proper medicine
Jake:Ok thanks Doc
They doctor leaves
Erika:(crying)Jake!We are going to loose her
Jake:(also crying)Babe don't think like that
