She broke your heart,

She still acts like she owns you.

Parades her knowledge of you around,

Using it to drive others away.

She has so many lovers,

You were just one.

But she won't let you go,

She won't give you peace.

I've seen the tears on your lashes,

The sadness when you smile,

The way your heart breaks at night,

When no one's there.

All I can say is "someday",

"Someday you'll be okay."

But you don't believe me.

You love her so much,

You can't see anything,

And you're out of touch.

I hate her,

She hurts you so,

Acts like she owns the whole damn show.

But you smile sadly and say,

There's reasons she acts that way.

Reasons she still kisses you,

Then sleeps with him.

Ignoring what you could have been.

I don't want to be her friend,

I want to see her dead.

It's too awful,

The way she messes with your head.
