"Go easy Mali. Don't scare him too much," Lena warned Mali.
Lena was leading Mali to a separate location in the police department where they put their special criminals. Mali was in charge of interrogating the guy they arrested. She had an idea of what she wanted do, but was forced to promise not to physically hurt him.
"Mess with his mind, but don't touch him. And even though we have guards around the room, I will personally stop you myself if it comes down to it."
Lena wasn't kidding. She would never kill her sister, but she was willing to stop her by any means necessary. Although Mali winked at her sister, she understood that she had to control herself for her own good.
Mali and Lena reached the end of a narrow hallway. As Lena unlocked the door, Mali could hear people shouting coming from the other side. Mali flinched as the door flung open, making the sounds louder than before. Lena looked at Mali's reaction and put a comforting hand on her shoulder.
"It's ok. Most of them have done some pretty bad things so we're forced to keep them here."
They walked down another hallway lined with cells. Mali saw people in jumpsuits, about 2 in each cell. She flinched again as a guy from one cell came barreling at her.
"Oh man holy-"
She stopped when she saw a guard yell at the guy to pipe down.
They walked down to a cell that had two numbers written on it. One was numbered #134; and the other #340. The name was written on a black chalkboard: Dean and Monte.
Lena pushed Mali in and followed her into the cell.
"Dean is the guy we're looking for. Monte left for court yesterday so Dean's alone. Lucky us," Lena whispered to Mali.
Mali glared. Lena's calm nature pissed off Mali. Especially because Lena wasn't the one facing Dean. She was.
"Hey," She said boldly. Might as well go in for the kill.
"I don't know anything," replied the man.
Mali stomped over. He clearly was gonna make her struggle, "Listen here you. I don't want to do this and you don't want to talk, so how about we make this quick. Where's your boss? Where's Chris Rose?"
Dean froze, "I don't know."
Mali clenched her fists, "What the hell are you talking about?! Of course you know!"
Dean looked away clearly ignoring her.
"Well, if Mr. Rose finds out that you failed the punishment will be greater than you could ever imagine," Lena spoke up from the shadows.
Mali stared in shock as her quiet sister hit the target with one silent shot.
Lena gave a sideways smirk at Mali before continuing, "He could hurt your family too. You don't want that do you? Instead we'll stop him from hurting anyone and you can go back to your family."
Dean thought about it for a second before responding, "Promise to release me and then I will."
"Promise."
"You know the warehouse?"
