Lena and Mali braced themselves ready for action. As one man came at both of them, Mali ran towards him. He hesitated, giving her the moment she needed before kicking him straight to the head, knocking him out flat.
"One for me," she stated proudly to Lena.
As Lena whipped out her gun, one of the guys caught her in a headlock. She then took her gun, which she held tightly, and smashed it against his temple, leaving him on the ground. She looked towards Mali victorious. Mali just rolled her eyes and smiled.
"Alright, we're one to one. Watch me get another."
Lena watched as a third man ran up to Mali to throw a punch. Mali then kicked her leg up and around the punch and gave the man a sharp kick to his knuckle. She hoped it would've done at least some damage, but not only did he not get affected by her kick, he had her leg in his hand. She then boosted herself up with the leg she was standing on and swung herself around the man, sitting on his shoulders. She bashed his head with her elbow and landed gracefully next to Lena.
"Ok, looks like it's my turn."
Lena and Mali quickly finished off the men without them landing a single scratch on themselves. The men took turns attacking instead of charging at them in one fell swoop. Mali and Lena were surprised at their stupidity as the girls stood side by side and faced the man who instigated all the drama.
"So...you're the idiot?"
"Lena! What's with calling him an idiot? He's not stupid! He's an asshole!"
Lena glared at Mali as she joked about the man they were about to beat the shit out of. They heard the echoing of footsteps and finally looked away from each other to realize Chris was practically in front of them. Lena sighed loud enough for it to echo throughout the warehouse.
"Look. We don't wanna fight ok? Just come with us, we'll ask some questions and let you go."
"Honey, I won't be going anywhere and neither will you."
Mali looked at Lena with a smirk. Lena gulped in anticipation. Without her consent, Mali grabbed Lena and tossed her towards Chris who stumbled back in surprise. Lena, adapting to what happened, punched Chris in the face and he stumbled back, clutching his bloody nose. Mali took that opportunity to kick him in the balls. He fell to the ground, hands hovering in the air unsure of what to hold onto. Lena whipped out her handcuffs that Mali hadn't realized she had. She quickly secured Chris before dragging him to his feet and taking him outside.
Once they finally exited the building, Lena called the station to inform that there were some men who needed to be arrested. She then locked the warehouse and left the guys there. They then, walked towards the hospital while dragging a half-dead Chris behind them. He was cussing and kept passing out as they walked. This made people look towards them in question. Lena motioned at Mali to ignore the looks thrown at them from passerby's.
They reached the hospital building just as they heard a crash. They looked up to see a guy being flung out of a window. Shocked at what they witnessed, Lena dragged Chris and Mali upstairs, leaving the man half dead on the pavement.
"Shouldn't you check on him? I can take care of this guy," she pointed to Chris.
"No, it's a hospital so someone will get him. Besides I have a feeling I know which window he was thrown out of."
"You're not suggesting that..."
"Mali! Just shut up and follow!"
They leaped up the remaining stairs, which seemed the fastest option at the time and ran towards June's hospital room.
