Everyone knows everybody-

"Yes?" I answer my phone.

"Vanessa! Wake up!" Jerry scream on the other line.

"Freak Jerry! It like-" I look to my clock and it 8:30.

"Shit!" I scream out.

"Yeah, get you butt up and get down already. I'm waiting." I hang up the phone and run into my bathroom.

I took a quick shower, brush my hair down and curly it a little on the bottom.

I ran toward my closet and spin it for a while until I found the perfect outfit.

A purple V-neck shirt that had a white rosé on it. Then a white skinny jean that show of my big butt.

"Vanessa? What a ride to school?" my cousin, Tom ask.

"Nah. I have Jerry outside already" I grab my backpack and ran out my room.

I ran pass the kitchen and grab a quick apple and red punch juice box. I don't know why but I really like eating food that are red.

I ran out the front door and saw Jerry waiting for me in his car.

"Gosh Vanilla. What took you so long?" he yell at me while I hop into the car.

"Sorry, I was texting Frankie last night. Talking about tonight movie premier." Since Monday, Frankie been texting me and talking about the movie today. I can't believe it in finally Friday.

"Damn, haven't even had a date yet and you two already seem like a couple. Cute" Jerry said sounding like a girl.

"Shut up and focus on the road." I point to the road. "Dont want what happen on Monday to happen again. Do we?"

"No way" he keep his eye in the steering wheel and focus on the road.

I turn on the radio and TGIF from Katy perry pops up.

"Ohhh!! I love this song!" Jerry said.

"Sometimes I think your gay or something" I shake my head and turn up the song.

Jerry sing along with the song and I started to laugh.

Finally after song after song of Katy perry, we finally made it to school.

"Yo! There your future boyfriend" Jerry pointed at somewhere and I look.

I see Frankie talking with his buddies from football and some girls trying to get his attention.

"Damn hoes these day" Jerry said and I laugh.

"Whatever Jerry, Frankie and me are not together yet so it fine." I said and look back at Frankie.

With all the beautiful but yet slutty girl around Frankie, how could I compete against them. I have very pale skin, normal wavy hair and just plain brown eyes. Nothing pretty about me.

"Ok we're here!" Jerry interrupted my thoughts.

"Ok" I get out the car and walk into class while Jerry next to me.

Ding ding

"Better get to class. Bye Vanilla" Jerry say goodbye and hug me.

"Bye" I hug him back and went to first period.

Hope today goes by fast. Can't wait till tonight.
