•A Year and Six Months Later•
Author's POV:
April was getting ready to walk down the aisle, she couldn't believe what was happening. She smiled at the memory of Jon proposing to her almost five months ago. She got called to the front doors, it was time.
AJ Lee's POV:
It was time. It was about damn time.. My stomach was in knots and I couldn't stop smiling. I looked at my father, he was about to burst into tears. When the piano started playing, the doors opened. Everyone was looking, then I saw my handsome husband-to-be, Jonathan. He was smiling brighter than day.. I loved it. I started walking down the aisle with my father, arm in arm.
Once I reached the podium, Jonathan helped me stand since I was wearing heels. I have to follow tradition. I laughed lightly and I saw Layla and Roman holding my precious child, I decided to call him Dean, Jonathan's ring name. Because why not? He was a month old and he's just too precious.
It was time for the main event... The 'I Do's.'
"Jonathan Good, do you take April Jeanette Mendez to be your lawfully wedded wife?"
"I do." He placed a ring on my finger.
"April Jeanette Mendez, do you take Jonathan Good to be your lawfully wedded husband?"
"I do." I said, with my voice cracking up, I felt like crying, but I held it in. I took the ring and placed it on Jonathan's finger.
It was official. I'm officially April Jeanette Good.
"You may now kiss the bride." Once I heard that, Jon kissed me like his life depended on it. Once he pulled away, I looked into his blue orbs and let a tear fall down my cheek. I was finally happy.
