Chapter 5. The Letter.

sorry it took so long i had no time to write while taking care of two mischievous little puppies well ones not so little :p and my dad got hurt at work 2 years ago and had to have 3 surgeries since that happened and recently got hurt again at work so i have had to babysit him alot but he and my mom work at the state mental hosital for the criminally insane so that shiz happens

again sorry for the wait but it will in all likelyhood be a long time before i upload again but you never know it might be sooner then i think * shrugs sholders * oh and please let me know if i spell something wrong im begging you * gives you puppy face *

Chapter 5.

four week's have gone by, and now it's three week's until halloween, and then my birthday is only two months and a week away after that.

Onyx and Phoenix have been picking me up and taking me back home ever since that guy tried to grab me, and right now we're sitting in my room listining to music and talking about my friend's back home and i let it slip that i missed them terribly, when Onyx asked. " so when do you think they will be able to come up and visit. "

i give them a grimm smile and say. " well since they live in missouri and that's like half the country away, i mean we're in washington it's not like they live right nextdoor i don't think they ever will be able to visit. "

" well that IS a bit troublesome, but maybe we can help. " suggested Phoenix.

 i looked at them and sighed. " i can't let you guy's pay for anything it wouldn't be right Phoenix. "

they both frowned as they looked at me and said. " but we want to pay how is that wrong. "

 i look at them like they have 2 heads and say. " becuse i didn't work for it, it just wouldn't be right. "

" well when they end up coming up for your birthday just know it will be a gift from us. " Onyx said with a smirk, and Phoenix nodded in agreement.

i raise my eyebrow and say. " no it wouldn't be right. " i cross my arms.

" yes. " says Onyx.

i glare at them. " no. "

" Yes. " Phoenix says.

" No. " i glare at them harder.

" YES. " they half say half shout at the same time.

" NO." i shout.

" yes."

" no. "

" yes."

" no. "

" yes."

" no. "

" no. "

" yes."

" HA you said yes. " Phoenix shouts and high fives Onyx while grinning.

" but but but, damnit fine you win i give do what ever the hell you want. " i say with a huff.

Phoenix smirks. " don't worry we will. "

i roll my eyes and shake my head, they had been at it for a week and i have been saying the same thing they just don't listen, it's like talking to a wall. i look at them and ask. " can we continue this at your club. "

" sure. " they both shrug and wait for me to ask my mom when she says yes i grab Spot's leash put it on him and we leave.

around three hours later they take us home by then it's around 6:00 pm, and we say good bye for the night.

i wave as they leave then go inside to eat dinner with my family.

the next day when i get the mail i see a letter from none other then old Mrs. Sampson. she has sent an invitation to everyone in town with children age's five-seventeen for them to attend a ball or party of what kind it didn't say just to attend and that it would be held in a month and a half or so right before the beginning of december. ' well that should be interesting. ' i think to myself.

i set it on the coffee table and go back to my chores, and for once i act like a normal teenager i decide to blast some music, so i grab my mp3 player and portable speakers then hit play on my favorite playlist and smile as Bring Me To Life by Evanescence come's on, it had been one of my favorite songs since i was seven and my cousin Aaron who was five years older then me at the time  had burnt a cd for me, after listening to it for a minute i go back to work on the laundry.

later on i was watching tv and my best friends Lexus and Brennan started to text me, and i go on to tell them all about Onyx and Phoenix ( but leave out the fact about them being vampires obviously ) then fill them in on everything that had happened since i moved, they start to really freakout when they here about how that guy tried to grab me, and i just brush it off it's not like i was hurt in anyway, when they calmed down i told them how Onyx and Phoenix said that they will be flying them out for my birthday, they were so excited to be able to come over. ( since we all three have had a brother/sister relationship for the whole two and a half years that we had known each other. ) my parents were going to be just as excited i was well almost as excited as i was that they were coming over, so they would not care if they were to stay the whole week before they leave.

after a hour or so we say goodbye and promise that we would text each other later.

the day's passed in a blur and soon it was only a week until halloween and Onyx and Phoenix were hosting a gothic halloween party at they're club in three day's.

i could not wait, i was going in a cute little black skirt that went to my knee's and puffed out, the outside layer's are ripped in random places where the dark blue under layer's showed through , some black fish net tight's, a dark blue halter top with a black ripped up jacket that was cropped to just under my bust, some black fish net gloves that go to just above my elbow's, and black knee high combat boot's to complete the outfit.

i still wasn't sure on the accessorie's, but i was leaning toward my favorite vampire kiss necklace and earring set.

i could not wait until halloween it had always been my favorite day of the year for as long as i could remember, evan christmas.

i was still looking at my outfit for the party when my mom come to tell me that dinner was done, so i eat dinner with my family then we watch a movie and go to bed, my last thought that night was a vision.

it was of the party, and i was going to the restroom when i see a vampire start to lose it's control on it's hunger, it was going to go after a girl on her way out of the restroom when i grab it by it's arm and call for Phoenix to get him out of there.

and as i go back on my way i know someone is watching me but as to who it was i had no clue.
