Chapter 13.

*Keirsten's P.O.V*

I slowly regain consciousness, my head feeling like someone was hitting me in the head with a hammer.

I flinch from the pain in my head, and hear quiet foot steps coming closer to the bed I was on. " Are you waking up, Keir? How do you feel? " I hear Onyx ask.

I open my eyes and groan at the light in the room. (I always did have a light sensitivity though so no one was worried) " W-what happened? How long was I out? " I ask, sitting up in bed and grunting from the pounding in my head.

Vallander steps forward. " We had thought you would be able to clear that up, Little one. " Vallander said with a grim look. " You gave us all quite the scare. "

Suddenly I remember the vision, or should I say visions since it was four or five of them. Though I have a feeling that the last one was the reason for my current condition.

" I remember what I seen, but what happened to my body while I was out? " I ask worried. I had never blacked out while having a vision before.

Vallander looked at me with a tight smile, taking a bag I hadn't noticed he was holding, and setting it on the bed next to me. " I had asked if something was bothering you. " He takes a small flashlight out of the bag, and shines it in my eyes like anyone with any medical training would. Stopping he stands up straight again, putting the flashlight away inside the bag. " You fell forward. So I placed you on the floor to check your vitals. Your eyes started to glow white, and you had some type of seizure. The others started to panic, so I took charge of the situation. Naturally. " He looks into his bag.

I hum, drifting into my thoughts for a moment. " I've never blacked out like that before. " I look up to meet each of their eyes. " Then again, I've never had a vision like that one before. "

Vallander looked up at me with inhuman speed. " What do you mean, ' Like that one before. ' This time was different than the others? How? " He asked with a slight tilt of his head.

" It was not a vision of just one event, like I've had before. It was more than one vision this time, it was four visions. But I think the one that caused my seizure was the last one, it had be the biggest vision I have ever had. " I inform them.

" Four? All at once? Are you sure that wasn't the cause itself? " Jackel asked with a disbelieving look.

" I'm almost 100% sure. " I say with conviction.

" What were they about? And what makes the last one so different? " Vallander asks looking concerned.

" It was not of what is to come, but of what has already happened. " I say, " It was of the past, not the future. " I add with a slight amused smile at Saphire's confused face.

You could almost hear the gears in her head turn. " Oh! " Saphire said as she gets it, looking every bit the cartoon with the lightbulb lighting up above her head.

Major blonde moment. But in her defense, she wasn't exactly paying attention to what I was saying. Nope. She was too busy staring at Jackel's butt, to be much help.

I start to explain all of the visions, paying more attention to detail on the last one. Then bringing up my concerns about my brother and the other kids. By the time I was done they were all wide eyed with amazement. Then Vallander looked deep in thought, then out of nowhere he used his vampire speed to leave the room. Making it look like he disappeared to the human eye. When he comes back, he has an old scroll in his hands.

" This is the oldest scroll I have in the library. It is an old story, one passed down in my family for generations. My great grandfather had the idea to write it down, and as luck would have it, passed it down to my grandfather, which passed it down to my father, then to myself. It depicts a war like that of the one you have described. A war that took place when the Vampires, Were creatures, and most other supernatural beings were very new to the world. " Vallander informed. " It was a nearly forgotten story when he had written it down, and all but forgotten  when he had left it to me. "
