I Always Thought I Was Human **(ON HOLD)**

Chapter 10. Meeting The Mates.

Chapter 10.

When we reach the pack house I look up at the five story mansion in awe. it was built to look like a cabin, with log walls and big windows. It was pretty cool looking.

We walk into a large living room, large enough for close to 100 people. With about two or three dozen bean bag chairs piled up in the corner of the room, and six large couches all facing the three large 60 inch flat screen tv's, and two 40 inch tv's on the walls. And every game system from PlayStation, Nintendo, and Xbox, on shelves under the them. And despite being empty at the moment you could tell that it was well used, and frequently at that.

" You cleared everyone out pretty fast there Seth. " I chuckle and look at him as we walk down a hall to his office. He growls at me and again said, " Give it to me. "

" Hmm. " I say, eyes sparking with mischief. " No, I don't think I will. " I grin ad we entered his office and sit down.

His eyes start to glow Alpha blue and he growls louder then before. The windows start to shake, and all I do is chuckle.

" Stop laughing. " He growls out, " I'm Alpha! And you are being disrespectful, and I know for a fact that if it was anyone else, my wolf would have killed them after the first warning. So why is my wolf not reacting to you doing it? Mate's friend or  not, he should at least want to hurt you. " Seth said looking confused.

I look at everyone in the room. They all seemed to want an answer to his question. A question I didn't have an answer to yet. Onyx and Phoenix, seemed to be the only ones who picked up on this, but they weren't going to help me either.

I sigh before saying, " I don't know yet, but I do know that I have always had a strong connection with Canines. No matter the breed, be it dog, fox, or wolf. "

He stops growling ad he considers what I just said. When he does speak it's soft and begging, like I could break him with my next words as he asks, " Can I please just have the hair scrunchie? "

" hmmmm. " I hum. Then nod with a grin, " Sure, I'll even throw in letting you see a picture of her. " I say, then I see the twich of his lip and add, " when you drop the pitty act pup it's yours. " " Oh and by the way guys the mates  are eavesdropping from the other side of door. " I say to the other wolves in the room.

Beta Derek opens the door and three wolves fall into the room. " OW! " I hear from the bottom of the wolf pile on the floor. I look to see a brown haired, brown eyed, girl getting squished at the bottom of the pile, by a boy with black hair and purple eyes. And the one sitting on top of them is a girl with white blonde hair and the same purple eyes as the boy.

By the time everyone had their prospective mate and sat back down, I couldn't help myself. I chuckle at them all, " Well it looks like it's time to meet the mates. " I said.

The brown haired girl looked up at the Alpha with a sheepish look and said, " Sorry about that. Our mates normally tell us everything, so when they didn't say anything about this we couldn't help ourselves. The twins thought that we could spy on you guys without you all noticing. " She says, shooting a glare at purple eyed pair.

The twins look at each other, then at her before busting out laughing. When they finally calmed, the pretty looking purple eyed boy speaks up from his seat on Trent's lap, " My name is Jace, and that's my sister Daisy. " He says nodding to his purple eyed twin.

" Hi, it's nice to meet you. " Daisy says quietly, shyly hiding her face in Brenda's long golden blonde hair, making Brenda's grey eyes light up. They were sitting on one of the couches in the room.
