I Always Thought I Was Human **(ON HOLD)**

Chapter 9. Into The Wolf Den.

Chapter 9.

That is how we ended up in this position. with the Alpha wolf growling at me while I laugh, and demanding to have my hair scrunchie [A/N you know those hair ties that have the scrunched up fabric. ]

Wait wait wait let me back up.

------* 1 hour earlier *------

Onyx,  Phoenix and I had finally managed to convince the others not to come with us to visit the wolves.

I was walking a little in front of Onyx, and Phoenix. when four HUGE wolves come running towards us the biggest one a chocolate brown colored wolf with glowing blue eyes. the other ones had glowing yellow eyes.  the one to it's right flank, is a little bit smaller then the brown one. and it's fur is a tan sandy colored wolf. to the left of the brown one is a little smaller then the tan one. and is a light grey colored wolf. and the last one is at the brown ones back, and is the smallest out of the four but is not small in the least. and is a reddish/brown wolf.

My guess would be that. the brown one is the Alpha. (first in command.) the tan wolf is the Beta. ( second in command. ) the grey one is the Gamma. ( third in command. ) and the reddish/brown one is the Delta. ( fourth in command. ) Of the pack.

The Alpha shifts back to his human form grabbing a pair of shorts from the Beta. as he is putting them on I blurt out, " Am I going to be killed? my instincts are telling me I can trust you. does your wolf say the same? "

The Alpha straightens up. and looks at me with caution. " How would you know about what my wolf is saying? "

" I'm not the most normal girl in the world. and I can hear him. " I said with a chuckle.

He looks at me with suspicion, " That's not possible. " He said.

I shrug, " Well, obviously it is possible. " I say. then I shake my head and look at Onyx        and Phoenix, who had just tensed up when he took a step closer to me. and say, " Don't interfere. No matter what it looks like. " I sigh, " Please guys. " They hesitate for a couple of seconds, then nod and back up some.

I then look back at the Alpha, who looks like he just noticed that he had stepped forward as he was talking, and stops. " Sorry. " He said, and his golden/brown eyes widen. as did the other wolves.

I giggle. Alpha wolves only ever apologize to a higher rank or their mate, and maybe someone who is close to them. " That was your wolf talking, so don't over think it. " I say as a vision flashes through my mind.

The Alpha takes quick steps towards me that makes his dark brown hair move. I stand my ground, and he comes to a stop in front of me.  he moves quick and sure. but I know what's coming, and when he goes to pick me up by the neck, I move at the last moment. they all look surprised when they see that I dodged him.

I keep my arms by my side's so as not to seem like I was challenging him, and say, " I am not a threat to you or your pack. your wolf is telling you this as well, yet you are still showing caution? " I smile, " While I will not submit, I will say you are an amazing Alpha. it shows in your actions here, you don't just go by instincts alone you use your head. "

His wolf pushes through to the front, to speak with me and his eyes glow Alpha wolf blue,  " Why would you test us? " Asked his wolf.

I don't answer,  instead I pull my hair scrunchie out my purse. I hold it out towards him and say, " Smell this. "

He sniffs it and growls, " Mate!. " He said reaching for me, dodge him and he growls again, " Why do you run, Mate?. "

I look at him, " I'm not your mate. " I said.
