Alexandra's POV:
it's been 4 days. every time i fall asleep and wake up again, there is food next to me but i'm scared to eat it. i feel weaker than ever and i keep praying that Zach is gonna burst through the doors and save me. i don't know who or what this person wants from me, but i have no time for this. my kidnapper adjusted my room so there is a dim and flickering light on the other side of the room. everything else was dark. i try to fall asleep when my door opens. i look up at the person walking in. they shut the door and turn a flashlight on me so i can't see their face. "why are you doing this?" before i know it another hospital bed is rolled in. someone was tied to it. the person with the flashlight strapped me to my bed and then the two kidnappers walked out and locked the door. i look over at the bed next to me. "hey!" i whisper shout. "hello!" "person next to me WAKE UP!" i scream. nothing. i cry myself to sleep wondering who the other victim is wondering if they were even alive.

Zach's POV:
i wake up and i'm in a pitch black room. i see a dim and flickering light on the other side but it doesn't help at all. i go to sit up but i'm strapped in. great. "melissa! i need to pee you bitch!" i scream while trying to break from the straps. "melissa?" i hear a female voice next to me. "Alex?" i asked "Zach?" she answered "yeah it's me" i say a smile forming on my face from hearing her voice. "did you just say melissa? she's the one who kidnapped us?" she says angry. "yeah. she put a shot in my neck. Alex what did she do to you at the house? before i brought you here?" i ask confused. "after you left to get the kids someone rang the bell. i sat up in bed and looked out the window. i watched as the person kicked the door open and i tried to run and lock the bedroom door. but i couldn't run. i walked over as fast as i could trying not to make a sound and the second i reached the door, it was shoved opened and i was thrown onto the floor. then i woke up in here." "i'm so sorry." i said still trying to let myself free. "ugh i can't reach my keys" i whisper not knowing who can hear me. "you can do it babe, just focus." Alex said. i could tell she was crying. i wiggles my hand back and forth until i freed it from under the strap. "Alex, i did it." i reached down and grabbed my keys and started sawing the strap.
after about 10 minutes, i had successfully broken 1 strap. there were 3. but now i had more use of my arms.

Jack's POV:
They had the whole hospital on lockdown. Amber Alerts were sent out for the two of them and all doctors were being interrogated. i began searching this one part of the hospital and there were 4 rooms in the area. all the rooms were labeled "electricity" "storage" "mechanical room" i try and open one of the doors but it was locked. i move to the next door, locked. third door, locked. fourth door... i heard voices. i leaned against the door and listened. "melissa, i don't understand what you want us to do with them?" "mother, listen to me. i want to make zach mine. and alex, she has no one left. no mother, no father. you can do whatever operations you want on her. if she dies, it'll be better for everyone." "but mel-" "do you want to be a doctor or not? in order to be promoted from nurse to doctor, you need to have 'experienced operator' on your resume." "you're right" i backed away from the door and walked over to door one. i took the pin out of my pocket and began picking the lock. i opened it and it was empty. second door, empty. third door, was dark. there were 2 empty beds and i looked around "hell-" something was smashed over my head. "what the fu-" "Jack!" alex exclaimed. "yeah! hi! why did you attack me?" "we thought you were melissa!" we were all still whisper shouting. "come on!" i pulled them out of the room and as we were about to re-enter the lobby, "well, well, well. looky what we have here" melissa and her mother were behind us holding tasers. "fuck you" i said while turning the door knob. it was locked. "aww are you looking for this?" she held up a key. zach was holding alex from how weak she was. i began pounding on the door. people were trying to open it from the outside. "hurry!" i screamed through the door. "you aren't getting away just yet." melissa tased zach causing him to fall to his knees. he placed alex on the floor as soft as he could while grabbing his side. melissa dragged zach away from alex while he held his side. her mom pulled out a chair and lifted zach up into it. they tied him down and i went to walk over but melissa tased me too. i was on the ground next to alex watching as melissa sat on zach's lap. "remember this. at least now i can finish what i started." Melissa's mom stood next to me and alex. she would tase us if we moved. and melissa has hers in hand. the door still wouldn't open.
