Chapter Ten

"And because of that, this PE teacher's had a change of heart. The Phantom Thieves who steal hearts... To think they truly exist." Yusuke said. All of them decided to go to the Diner after having left Madarame's palace.

"Is it hard to believe?"

"No, I have to believe your words. Especially after seeing a world like that. So your plan with Madarame-sensei-- with Madarame is to force a change of heart, correct? Let me join... as a member of the Phantom Thieves."

Everyone was shocked by the request Yusuke made and look over at each other and then back to him.

"Had I faced reality sooner, this may have been avoided. I must put an end to this for the sake of the others whose futures as artists were robbed, as well. That is the most civil thing I can do for the man who was... in some manner, my father." He started to play with his fingers a little and then Ann spoke up.

"Civil, huh..."

"Sounds fine to me. We're gonna deal with Madarame anyways." Ryuji said to Yusuke with Morgana popping out of the bag.

"He may have a mental shutdown if we screw up. We have ways to prevent that, but they aren't fail-safe. Remember how we mentioned this on our way here?" Morgana asked him and Yusuke nodded.

"Madarame is a man who has the art world under his thumb. He has connections to many organizations. If someone like me raises my voice, it'll only be snubbed out. We have no option but this."

"Kitagawa-kun..."

"It's a deal then. We have a new member in the Phantom Thieves now! I hope we get along Yusuke!" Ann smiled

"You better not slow us down." Ryuji told him and Yusuke look at him.

"I'll do my best"

"Welcome aboard, Yusuke." Akira said and Yusuke smiled

"Thank you. I ask that you coach me well."

"Why would such a world like this, exist and where? Did I somehow teleport to the other side of the world or into another reality?" Eliza asked herself as she decided to go inside her brother's side of the palace.

"This place... It reminds me too much of his side of the house at home. It seems dangerous, but... I must know what this is!"

She ran and ran looking around and trying to find her brother and she bumped into something and when she looked, it was one of the prisoners. This one, in particular, was a small girl and she had one eye missing and had light brown-colored hair.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bump into you like that."

"You're... Princess Eliza!"

"Princess? Sorry, you must be mistaken. I have no royal blood."

"Please don't hurt me! I'm sorry that I talked back to you!"

"What? I'm not gonna hurt you. Please don't be afraid of me."

"So, you are not gonna tell the General that I ran away from my cell?"

"No. I want answers to this place and why it is like this. If you know anything, please tell me."

"Well, this is the prison building. All inmates are brought here to be locked up once they are done with the assignments they are ordered to do."

"Assignments? Like what?"

"W-well... The Mistress takes some of us girls for photo shoots to give to their customers."
