Chapter Twenty - Four

7/19 Tuesday, After-school

"If we can't identify who it is, there's nothing we can do. Let's wait till they make their move..."

"It is regrettable that we have to wait. We have Eliza's parents to work on too. I just hope we can end Medjed's schemes as soon as possible."

"Yeah... Hey, Lady Ann texted you. Let's hang out with her."

"That's fine by me. Homework is light at the moment, so I got time to hang out."

"Okay... Summer break is soon, which also means that the concert is soon... This also means my parents will be coming soon and also concludes to... My life is over and dying as I have been in prison for being born."

Eliza paces over and over around her room and then she sits down by her desk and looks at her laptop. She sighs and then opens it up searching the web for anything that may get her mind off of the situation.

"No, no. Don't do that. It's only the first day, you gotta have faith in Akira. Think about Medjed and how to take them down."

Nighttime:

Yusuke: So, I looked into Medjed.

Ann: Did you find anything?

Yusuke: As you know, Medjed is a god that appears in the Egyptian Book of the Dead.

Ann: Huh?

Yusuke: Its name apparently means "the smiter"

It seems nobody is actually sure that Medjed is a real name

On top of that, almost everything else about him is unknown

Even his form is unattainable.

An unforeseen god that flies through the sky and shoots from his eyes

He is truly an elusive being.

Ryuji: Dude

Yusuke: Everything about his existence is shrouded in mystery

Ryuji: Wait

Yusuke: Fundamentally speaking, ancient Egyptian art always depicted gods drawn in a side profile.

However, Medjed is facing straight ahead in all depictions of him

Taking all of this into account, he seems to be quiet the alien being.

Akira: I see...

Eliza: Why is it that for some reason, I see this being good info?

Ryuji: Don't let him get inside your head with that nonsense.

Yusuke: I hope that information was at least somewhat useful

Makoto: Indeed it was

Yusuke: Should I look more into it?

Makoto: That's enough, thank you

Akira closes the chat and heads upstairs to do his homework and once he finishes, he heads to sleep along with Morgana by his side and while drifting to what he thought was the realm of sleep, he was interrupted by waking up in the Velvet room. He gets up as Justine tells him that they got something to say to him.

"It seems you've got your share of problems, Inmate," Caroline said as Akira got closer to them and grip the bars of the prison door per usual.

"To think you would relax under such circumstances. Either you're quite bold... or quite foolish." Justine said and as much as he wanted to deny it, he knew the twins probably wouldn't even want to hear him talk back to them.
