I follow gray and catch up to him "hey" I say softly and he looks at me "hi?" He asks and I smile a small smile "how have you been" really Emerson "how have you been" you fucking idiot he chuckles "perfectly fine" I tug on his shirt and look up at him "what are you doing to yourself gray" I say sadly and he shrugs "nothing, don't worry about me" he says and shrugs my hand off of his shoulder "how's you and your boyfriend" he asks and I furrow my eyebrows confused "you live with him you should know" I say and he laughs softly damn I miss that "I've been staying at Ali's since the incident between us" I feel myself becoming angry and jealous "I thought she cheated on you!" I say angrily "we're best friends with benefits ouch. that hurt I nod and sigh "Grayson I'm sorry, please forgive me. I never meant to hurt you" I say and he shrugs "it's whatever,I'm happier then ever now" he says and it pains my heart because I know he's hurt. His phone notifies him that he's got a message and he checks it "I got to go" he says and I nod "text me please?" I ask and he shrugs "if I'm not busy" he says and walks away "Grayson!" I yell and he looks back "don't forget about me" I say loud enough for him to hear and he nods and leaves the school he's the way he is because of your slutty ways
