Running Wild (On Hold)

Chapter 3

Previously on chapter 2-

I was running outside in my wolf form and I felt so free like I was able to run for the first time in a very long time.
"Y/N?" Called a voice further up ahead, I recognised it as my old pack mate, Kyan
"Kyan!!" I barked racing towards him and I formed as I was running, he pulled me into a hug and I gladly hugged back
"I missed you so much" He sniffled and I giggled
"I missed you too" I smiled.
"Y/N? Who is this?" Asked Dmitri forming into a human behind me

Now in Chapter 3-

"Dmitri? Why did you follow me?" I growled

"Because I wanted to know where you were going, sorry," he said muttering slightly at the end. I pinched the bridge of my nose in frustration
"You know I have no clue who you are" I growled raising my voice ever so slightly making him tremble with a tinge of fear.
"Sorry" He stuttered and I closed my eyes to calm myself
"It's fine, Just go home," I said and he nodded turning into a wolf and running home while I turned to face Kyan
"Sorry about him, He hasn't learnt anything about me yet so he's still getting used to me being who I'm not" I explained and he nodded understanding completely. We walked to his house and I ended up staying the night, I bet Dante would be worried about me but I'm fine on my own. he just doesn't know.

"Y/N! Wake up!" screamed a male's voice waking me up. I sat up and saw Kyan coughing with smoke everywhere. I got up and formed into a wolf with him, we ran outside immediately where his parents were. I couldn't stop coughing as smoke was in my lungs. I steadied my breathing and soon I was fine
"Are you okay?" Kyan asked and I nodded weakly before deforming and falling to the ground while my vision blurred then to black. I heard everyone yelling my name but I was passed out by the time they had gotten to me.

"W-What happened?" I asked as I sat up from being passed out, I looked around and saw my father in the trees, I got up and pinched myself, I winced in pain 
'Definitely not a dream' i thought before forming and running off
"Do not run little one, My name is Anastasia, I just took the form of your father. I'm here to help you" said a voice, I halted and looked around to see Dante,
"Don't act like my father or any family to me, only friends?" I said holding my head up high in confidence. She nodded and walked closer to me.
"Y/n, you have a dark history. Am I correct?" I nodded and she continued "You are being targeted by your father as he wants to kill you for your abilities"
"What do you mean?" I asked as the wind picked up blowing my H/L  H/C hair everywhere.
"You'll find out one-day little one!" she called as the wind took her away and things started to come back to me as I woke up.

"Y/N!!" Kyan exclaimed
"What happened?" I asked in a raspy voice sitting up and coughing slightly
"Our house, It caught fire and I went in to get you and when you came outside you passed out so we brought you here to the hospital" He explained with his werewolf ears and tail showing, I just nodded and laid back down. 
"Y/N!" Smiled Dante
"Hey Dante," I said in a raspy voice
"You okay?" He quired
"I think" I coughed. Doctors came into the room and told the males to leave, I didn't want them to but they had to
"Don't worry about what's going to happen" Smirked one of the doctors as he put his hand on my thighs. 
"Kyan! Dante!" I shouted and having a coughing fit after. Dante was the first one to come into the room and see what the doctors were doing
"What do you think you're doing?" He spat
"Taking what's ours" Snarled the second doctor.
"She isn't yours. She came here for help, not anything else. Now leave the room or I will call other doctors in here to take you away and get you fired" He demanded while the doctor's faces dropped and they ran out of the room while I sighed thankfully.

It's been a few days since I've been out of the hospital and I'm glad. 
"Y/N!!" Yelled a voice I never wanted to hear again. I ran to the voice to find my father and Kyan. He was holding a knife to my best friend's neck
"No!!" I screamed making Dante and his parents come out.
"Let him go! Kill me instead! Let him live!" I pleaded while he shook his head
"I need one family member to torture and make fall to their knees and that's you my daughter" He smirked while tears dared to fall. 
"No!!" I screamed as he cut his neck.

I couldn't handle it anymore, I formed and ran not daring to look back, I knew Dante and Kyan's parents were following me so I ran faster, I jumped over logs that were in the forest and I didn't dare to look behind me.
"Y/N!!" Dante shouted as I stopped in front of a lake. My legs couldn't hold myself up anymore so I collapsed and I broke down crying.
"No, No, No. This has to be a dream" I sobbed quietly
"I wish it was too but it's not" Whispered Dante soothingly as he laid next to me.
"He can't be gone. Right?" I asked 
"I don't know" He muttered

Kyan's POV 

Black, that's all I could see, not the best thing in the world but I looked around from where I was and saw the light, I decided against it and stayed where I was
"Kyan, Sweetheart, Come and join us" Called my grandma who passed away years ago, I died but I don't want to go to heaven! I want to go back to Y/N, Dante, Mom and Dad! I don't want to be here!
"I want to go back! I want to see my parents and friends!" I shouted getting the attention of the real world
"If you want to go back, try and catch a rabbit," Said a voice as a rabbit hopped past me quickly. I raced after it in my human form but it wasn't as easy as I thought it was.

It's been so long since I've seen the rabbit, sure it's gotten away but I won't ever give up if it means I get to see everyone again, I'm willing to do what it takes to see everyone
