I rolled my eyes as I rode beside Levi. He sent me a frown and I laughed as I saw Oruo bit his tongue.
"I guess you learned not to talk so much when your on a horse idiot!" I exclaimed with a laugh.
He sent me a glare and I laughed as we made it to the house and I got off and walked over to Eren.
"Need help?" I asked with a smile.
"Thanks." He said softly.
I helped him tie the horse up and then we left to clean. I smiled as Levi ordered him to clean a room all over again.
"Don't worry about it he is like this to everyone." I said with a smile.
"I think your the nicest one out of all of them." Eren said smiling at me.
"Unlike then I'm not afraid of you." I said with a wink.
I left and soon we were leaving for our excavation. I smiled as I rode beside Eren and talked to him about what to expect on the mission.
"Just know Levi can be nice.... sometimes." I said with a laugh.
"Seems like he is only nice to you." He said shaking his head.
"Maybe because I'm his daughter." I said with a wink.
"Wait.... are you being serious?" He asked as I rode a head of him.
He followed me and I laughed as we made it to our base of operation. I listened to Levi and Hanji explain everything and then we got to work. After Eren couldn't transform I set in front of him with Eld.
"Don't worry Eren. It will be fine." I said smiling at him.
He nodded his head and I stood up and went over to talk to Levi. I felt steam and turned around shocked to see Eren had transformed his arm. I stood beside Levi and tried to keep everyone calm.
"I'll cut your head off!" Oruo yelled.
"Try it and I'll end you!" I snapped as I drew my own sword.
They looked at me shocked and I saw Eren staring at me.
"That is enough! He accidentally turned! Now all of you put your weapons away!" I ordered.
"We don't have to listen to you!" Gunther yelled.
"Any of you move to attack (y/n) and I promise it will be the last thing you do." Levi said calmly glaring at Gunther.
Gunther and the others moved back and Levi looked at me with a frown on his face. I nodded my head and turned to look at Eren. He tore his hand out and I caught him.
"Thanks." He whispered.
"How do you feel?" I asked softly.
"Not good." He whispered.
I helped him to a chair and helped him sit down. He smiled at me softly and I gently took his hand in mine.
"Doesn't look hurt." I whispered.
"Thank you for standing up for me." He whispered.
"I'd do it for anyone." I said softly.
"Still thank you." He said softly.
I smiled softly as I stood up and walked away. I got on my horse with the others and was forced to ride beside Levi. I let out a sigh and listened to him fuss at me.
"Okay. I didn't do anything wrong." I said annoyed.
"You know not to threaten a team member." He said calmly.
"What did they do? They did the same thing I did!"
"It's different because they aren't my daughter." He said calmly.
"I was only trying to protect a friend. And I get snapped at. God I wish you weren't my dad." I said as I turned back and started to ride beside Hanji.
I decided to stay with her and to let my team go alone. After awhile I learned that they had all been killed and I rode on the wagon beside Eren. He held my hand and I watched him cry. I held back my own tears until I made it back to my room and set on my bed. I heard a knock and looked up to see Eren looking at me sadly.
"Can I come in?" He asked softly.
I nodded my head and he walked up to me and pulled me into a hug. I felt tears stream down my face as I cried into his shoulder.
"It's alright." He whispered.
"I was horrible to them." I whispered as I hid my face in his shoulder.
"They didn't hate you. They told me themselves they were proud that you stood up for me when they didn't." He said softly.
"I still was horrible to them..... I shouldn't of said what I did." I said as I moved away.
"It isn't your fault..... I promise they don't hate you." He said softly.
I smiled at him and he smiled at me softly before I leaned up and gently pressed my lips against his. I smiled into the kiss as he pulled me closer. It was a short kiss, but held so much emotion.
"I've been wanting to do that for awhile." He whispered.
"Same." I said as I laid beside him on the bed.
I smiled as I closed my eyes and fell asleep. The next morning I woke up and felt a pair of eyes glaring at me. I set up to see Levi in the doorway with his arms crossed. I gently woke Eren up and pointed towards the doorway. I saw his face turn to one of fear and I rolled over and laid back down.
"Kill him and Erwin will have your head." I whispered as I closed my eyes and fell back to sleep.
"It will be worth it." Levi said as he went after Eren.
Eren ran out of my room and I smiled softly as I shook my head and went back to sleep.
