| EN ROUTE TO MIDTOWN HIGH |
"You remember your identity?" May asked, her eyes staring straight forward through her sunglasses, focusing on the road in front of them. Delilah nodded, holding the piece of paper with her information on it, reading it out loud. "My name is Delilah Stark, Tony Stark's niece who decided to join Midtown School of Science and Technology to help her in pursuing her dreams of being a nanotechnologist."
"So basically my first identity when I was here for the first time but with just a few touch ups?" May nodded, turning the wheel to make a right turn. "Oh, there's something in the glove compartment for you." Delilah opened the glove box and noticed a small, black cube in there. She picked it up and held it in front of her. May quickly glanced at her then back at the road. "Open it."
Delilah did as she was told, lifting the top off the box and seeing a small flip phone. "What is this for?" "It's for you to contact us, it has everyone's phone number in it and it is for emergency uses only." Delilah smiled at her supervising officer, "Thanks May."
Suddenly a wave of anxiety and fear hit Delilah as soon as Midtown High was in her eye sight. "Don't worry—" May reassured her. "—you'll be fine."
| MIDTOWN HIGH |
Peter was currently sitting in his chemistry class, goggles over his eyes, a black apron wrapped around his body, and Ned annoyingly bombarding Peter with questions he didn't really want to hear. Last night, getting back home from his Spider-Man duties, Peter wasn't aware of the fact that his best friend was sitting on his bed with a nearly fully built LEGO Death Star as he was literally climbing on the ceiling in his spider suit on.
So all morning, after he left his apartment from having that kinda awkward conservation with Delilah, Ned was spitting out questions about his abilities, how did he get them, did it hurt, all different kinds of questions on their way to school.
"Can you spit venom?" Ned asked as he and Peter were currently working on a lab that their teacher gave them. "No Ned..." The Parker boy mumbled, obviously annoyed. "Oh, can you—"
"Alright class!" Peter mentally cheered as their teacher spoke up, stopping Ned from asking another idiotic question. "It seems we have a new student joining our class—" Their teacher then shrugged, "—well, sorta new. Everyone meet Delilah Stark." Peter suddenly felt his heart jump around in his chest and the palm of his hands getting sweaty as his warm, brown eyes meet Delilah's alluring hazel ones.
"Is there anything you want to tell the class, Ms. Stark? Well, other than the fact that your uncle is Tony Stark himself." Everyone in the class cringed as their teacher released a very high pitched laugh. Delilah politely shook her head, a smile on her lips. "Oh, okay. There is a free seat next to Mr. Parker and Mr. Leeds, you can take that one."
