The feeling of cold water splashing against her face instantly calmed the girl down. Delilah glanced at her SHIELD wristband, seeing that it was three in the morning. She only had a couple hours left till she had to get up and get ready for school.

Delilah walked out of her private bathroom and over to her bed, climbing under the sheets. A million thoughts ran through her head, remembering the conversation she had with Simmons and Fitz just a couple minutes ago. She could feel goosebumps form on her arms as Simmons's words echoed in her head. "You guys just all disappeared."

Delilah slowly felt herself slowly fall asleep and sucked into another vision but deep down, she could feel that this vision was going to be different than the others.

| UNKNOWN LOCATION |

Delilah found herself standing in the center of a large, flat grass field.  She observed her surrounds to find out there was nothing but grass.  No buildings, no villages, nothing.

Her eyes then landed on some old man sitting on some wooden log, staring off the cliff at the calm, blue ocean.  "It's beautiful.  Isn't it, my sweet?"  Delilah felt a smile form on her face when the voice of her father's filled her ears. "Father!" The young girl ran over to her dad, a smile on his lips.  "What is this?  Is this some vision?"

Odin shrugged his shoulders, "I guess you can say that this more like a guidance."  He then patted the empty spot on the log.  "Come sit."  Delilah sat beside her father, both of them enjoying the view.  "How have you been my daughter?  It's been a while."

Delilah sighed, "It's been okay.  I've missed you."  Odin turned to face his daughter, his hand reaching over to place it on top of hers.  "I've missed you too."

"So...why am I here?" The young girl asked.  "I'm here to talk to you...about your abilities.  When you came back to Asgard I've noticed you didn't have them.  What happened?"  Suddenly, rage filled Delilah's veins.  The memories of finding out that she was given her powers and that she was used to be a weapon.  "They are gone.  But they weren't really mine were they?"

Odin stared at his daughter with confusion written all over his face. "What do you mean, my sweet?"   "I know that my powers were given to me.  I wasn't born with them like Thor or Loki."  Odin sighed, his hand lifting up to rub his forehead, knowing that it was only a matter of time before Delilah would find out.  "Yes you were given your powers—"

"To help you conquer the other realms, am I right?" Delilah cut him off harshly.  "Of course not." Odin shook his head, a chuckle falling from his lips.  "You are the youngest and my only daughter.  I wanted you have the abilities to protect yourself."

"Yes, your brother Thor would have gotten the throne but I had other plans for you." He continued, gaining a confused look from Delilah.  "I wanted you to be the protector of Asgard—" His eye then traveled down to her SHIELD wristband.  "—like a shield."

"But now I don't have them." Delilah pointed out, a frown on her lips.  "Yes, you don't." Odin confirmed but tapped his daughter's thigh, getting her attention.  "But after many years of research through records and artifacts I've learned that you do have powers.  You just need to be patient and they'll come when you need them most."

"I've needed them a lot in the past three weeks." She muttered and her father chuckled, shaking his head.  "No, you didn't need them.  They would've come in handy at those moments.  Your powers will come when you need them."

"Am I still a goddess?"  Delilah asked and Odin nodded.  "Of course you are my dear.  But throughout your lifetime you misunderstood your destiny."  Delilah tilted her head at her father, her brow raised.  "What do you mean by that?"

"Your entire life you thought your destiny was to save lives but it wasn't.  Your destiny is to maintain life's balance."  Delilah's eyes widened at her father's words.  "W-what?"

Odin reached over and wrapped his arm around his daughter's shoulders, giving them a comforting squeeze.  "There is something I need to tell you that will be hard for you to hear."

The god took in a deep breath, "There will a conflict in your life, not now, but later that you must face and let it happen."  "What is it?"  Delilah asked, her eyes full of worry.  "There will be a time when half of the universe will be wiped out..."

"What?!" Delilah shot up from her spot, her heart dropping.  "How do I stop it?"  Odin instantly shook his head, waving his finger in a 'no' motion.  "You must let it happen."  Delilah's mind then went over to all the people she cared about, Thor, Loki, Sif, Heimdall, May, Coulson,.....Peter.  "W-what?  I can't!  I can't let that happen!"

"You have to!  It is your job to maintain this universe.  Keep it balanced." Delilah let out crazed laugh as she ran her hand through her long hair. "Balanced? So kill half of the universe?" Her mind going back to the people she cares about, the big chance of one or more of them being the ones to go. "Why?" She asked, her voice cracking slightly.

"Because this universe is getting over populated. Asgard, Midgard, the other realms. If the population keeps growing at the rate like now, planets will run out of resources, civilizations will die off. This needs to happen."

A tear slid down Delilah's face as she stared into her father's eye. "But—"

RING!  RING!  RING!

"No!" Delilah shouted as she slammed her hand on her alarm clock, turning off the ringing. Delilah hands gripped her brunette hair in frustration, her father's words echoing in her mind.

"Hey." The young girl turned her head to see Daisy leaning against her doorframe. "Visions again?" Delilah slowly nodded, not wanting to talk about what her vision was about. "Well...it's time to get ready for school."

Delilah sighed and got up from her bed, closing the door as Daisy flashed her one last smile before walking out.  Delilah walked to her dresser and picked out a simple out before she made her way towards her bathroom, taking a quick shower and brushing her teeth.  "Do I need makeup today?" She thought as she stared at herself in the mirror.

"Ehh, I'm good." She then grabbed her backpack and exited her room.

Walking to the exit of the base, Delilah spotted Coulson already in a vehicle, black sunglasses over his eyes.  Delilah hopped into the passenger's seat and Coulson began to drive off.  "Had a goodnight sleep?"

Delilah gave the man a stare that read, "Are you seriously asking me that?" Coulson smirked at the teenager and stepped his foot harder on the gas pedal.  "Don't worry."  He tried to reassure her.  "We'll figure out what your visions mean."

"I hope so..." She muttered under her breath as her father's words returned to her mind again.  "There will be a time when half of the universe will be wiped out..."
