The sound of crickets chirping, the faint sound of cars in the distance filled Delilah's ears as she walked on the sidewalk of a dark neighborhood, walking in the direction of where her and Peter saw the explosion happen.

She gripped the ICER pistol that was in her hands, her eyes constantly checking around her.  The sudden sound of her phone ringing caused the girl to jump.  "May!  Where's the Quinjet I called for?"

"An emergency came up and Coulson ordered everyone out on it.  Is there anyway you can take this on by yourself?"  A sigh fell from Delilah's lips as she nodded her head to herself.  "Yeah okay, I can handle it."  "Alright, be safe.  Plus, you have Peter by your side.  You two are unstoppable together."  Delilah smiled at May's last sentence, "Okay.  You guys be safe too."  She said before ending the call.

Delilah felt her whole body spaz when she heard another explosion, her grip on her firearm tightening.  "Please still have your phone on you.....somewhere in your suit."  She whispered to herself as she dialed Peter's number in her phone. She pressed the device against her ear as she heard it ring a couple a times before it went to voicemail. "Hey, it's Peter. Sorry I couldn't come to the phone right now. Leave a message and I'll call you back." "Dammit Peter." She cursed as she stuffed her phone back into her hand purse.

A couple houses down was Peter, slinging from house to house, making his way towards the mysterious explosion.  While swinging in the air, multiple things were going through his mind.  The explosion for one, Liz, and......Delilah.  The conversation they had on the Allan household's roof kept replaying in his head.  He cares about her, he deeply and truly cares about her and just hearing her voice and seeing her again brought back all the feelings he had for her.

Then it made him realize, those feelings never really left.  Peter was hurt when she went back to Asgard and his mind never stopped thinking about her, so he did anything he could to try and distract himself from her.  He would do his schoolwork and any extra credit he could get even though he didn't need it, he went to all of the decathlon practices, he would stay up super late doing Spider-Man duties, anything to keep his mind off of Delilah.  That's when Liz Allan came back into his life.

During practice, Liz would always notice the depressed expressions on his face and his attempts to hide it whenever someone would ask if he was okay.  Everyday, after practice she would be there to comfort him, even though he told her many times he was okay but she could see right through his lies.  After a week, Peter finally opened up to her, telling her everything he could, which consisted of him talking about his feelings towards Delilah, growing to like her and once he finally got the chance to be with her, she left.

Liz felt sympathetic towards him and it was their thing now, everyday after school they would just talk for hours before going their separate ways.
