Anxious. That's what Delilah felt as she stood in front of the hotel room that apparently Peter and Ned is staying at. Delilah could feel the palm of her hands becoming sweaty, a million thoughts of what could go wrong filled her mind.

"Delilah? You there?" The sound of May's voice filling her ears broke her away from her paranoid thoughts. "Y-Yeah. I'm here." Delilah shook her head, clearing her throat. "I'm turning off comms now. Contact you when I'm done." She took the earpiece out of her ear before May could say anything back and stuffed the device into her pocket.

Delilah raised her fist up to the door, debating whether or not if it is too late to turn around and get as far away from Washington as she can.

"Delilah?" She was suddenly torn out of her thoughts, regaining her focus to see the door already open and Peter standing in front of her with a hoodie over his head.  "H-Hey Peter..." She stuttered, feeling his hand wrap around hers and pulled her into the room.  The first thing she saw when she walked in was Ned sitting on the bed with his laptop on his lap.

"I'm glad you're here." Peter smiled, the grip he had on his backpack strap tightening as he couldn't help but feel his heart quicken at the sight of Delilah.  The conversation him and Ned had just a couple minutes ago coming back to his mind.

"What are you going to say to Delilah once she gets here?" Ned asked, typing a few random things into his laptop.  "Uh—nothing?" Peter shrugged, zipping his jacket over his spider-man suit.

"Nothing?" Ned scoffed, rolling his eyes at his friend.  "Dude!  When are you going to tell her about your feelings?"  "I don't know!" Peter snapped quite harshly, "This isn't the right time."

"When is the right time?" Ned questioned, "You need to do it now before you're too late.  What if she leaves to go back to Asgard before you had the chance to tell her how you feel?"

"What's the point in telling her how I feel if she is going to leave anyway?" Peter asked, causing Ned to groan loudly and roll his eyes.  "Are you that oblivious?  Dude, she is head over heels for you!  She would stay here if you told her your true feelings!"

Peter scoffed at his friend's words, shaking his head.  "Yeah, right.  She would leave her family just for me?"  "Uhh yeah." Ned nodded instantly, thinking that Peter's question was stupid.  "I remember you told me how she felt about her home.  How she feels alone there and how much happier she seems to be here!"

Ned couldn't help but groan again, annoyed at his stubbornness and denial.  "It doesn't matter Ned, I got to go!"

"Peter?" He was taken away from the memory at the sound Delilah's calm voice filling his ears.  "What?" His voice barely coming out as whisper.  "Did you hear me?"  Peter shook his head, swallowing the lump in his throat as his hazelnut colored eyes met her captivating hazel ones.  "You leaving already?"
