Chapter 3: Zumiez Dude

Fionna's POV

When we got to the parking lot there weren't many cars and there was one motorcycle. I was desperately hoping the motorcycle was his. Wait what am I saying, I don't want to be that close to him.

"Come on" he said pulling me again. I yanked my hand out his grip.

"I can walk on my own" I said still frustrated.

"Getting a little feisty there bunny" he said grinning.

"Don't call me that" he just grinned more when I said that.

"Why not bunny?" is he trying to annoy me? Not a smart move Zumiez dude.

"I'm not a bunny so don't call me one" I snapped at him.

"But you're sweet and innocent like a bunny, it fits you" I blushed when he called me sweet.

"Can we please just go" I said trying not to blush more at him.

"Alright but before we do I need a favor from you" he said in a serious tone.

"What do you need?" he probably wants me to do his homework for him when school starts. He pulled me in close and our faces were about an inch apart. I could smell his shampoo, it smelled like coconut, I looked up a little to see how amazing his shiny black hair looked. I thought I was going to melt being so close to him when suddenly he pushed me away.

"A fun little race" he yelled while running away from me.

I stood there shocked then ran to catch up to him. I could see him laughing while running, I hide behind a car and tackled him to the ground when he passed by. We rolled around a little, and when we stopped I ended up laying on top of him with my face in front of his.

"Well that was fun" he said smiling, snapping me back to attention and getting off him.

"Um yeah but can we go now, my sister might be getting worried" I said looking at my phone seeing it was already 6:30.

"Yeah sure my car is just over by that tree" he pointed to a shiny white Dodge Charger with black and red interior. I stood there staring at it.

"Sweet ride I know, my dad got me it last month when we moved here. It's mostly for me to get around sometimes to pick up a babe like you" he put his arm around my waist pulling me close.

"Wow" was all I could say. Wait did he just call me a babe? "I am not a babe so don't call me one"

"Ok bunny" he winked at me, but this time I didn't blush he was starting to get on my nerve's calling me bunny.

"You know my name so use it Zumiez dude" he laughed when I called him Zumiez dude.

"I guess I never did tell you my name. It's Marshall Lee but you can call me Marshall" he said laughing, I realized he was still holding my waist so I pulled away from him.

"Ok Lee take me home now" I ordered. He chuckled.

"Alright your highness" he bowed down then unlocked the car and got in the driver's side while I got in the passenger's side. He started up the engine and instead of going to the exit he went the the other way.

"Where are you going? The exit isn't this way" I said a little nervous of what was going to happen, and still mad about Marcy and Lucy having him take me home. He chuckled.

"Don't worry bunny were just taking the back way out, I'm still taking you home. Maybe" he mumbled the last part but I could still hear it.

"Where are you taking me!" I yelled scared now and trying to open the door to get out.

"Calm down bunny. I'm just going to stop somewhere" I didn't really want too but I didn't really have a choice since he was driving the car.

"Alright, you want to listen to some music" without waiting for me to reply he turned on the radio.

"OH MY GLOB! This is my favorite song!" I screamed. He chuckled, I started singing along to the radio.

"We were talking together

I said, "what's up with this weather?"

Don't know whether or not

How sad I just got

Was of my own volition.

Or if I'm just missing the sun

And tomorrow, I know,

I had sung the whole song with the radio. When it finished I heard Marshall chuckle.

"You're a really good singer" I turned to look out the window and blushed.

"I'm not that good" I looked out the window at a passing sign that said 'Now leaving AAA City' I turned to look at Marshall but he was focused on driving.

"Where are we going?" I started getting scared again.

"Don't worry" he replied grinning. I gulped getting even more scared at not knowing what was happening.
