Chapter 10: Crush?

Fionna's POV

Its 8 o'clock and Marshall still hasn't come back, maybe I should call him again. I dial Marshalls number but this time it goes straight to voice mail, is his phone off or just dead? I didn't bother leaving him a voice mail, I'll just go over to his house. I was still watching Marley so I told him I was taking him home he came over and took my hand and we walked out of the apartment, I don't have a car so I just borrowed Cake's truck.

"Woah truck!" I laughed when he said that, I got in the truck with Marley. I buckled him in then myself and drove off to Marshall's house, when we arrived his car wasn't there. I parked and got out with Marley, I knock on the front door and Leroy answered.

"Hey Leroy, is Marshall there?" he starred at me with sadness in his eyes. He moved and gestured for me to come inside, I did and Marley ran to his room.

"Come to my room it's more private there" I shrugged and walked with Leroy to his room, we sat down on his bed. "It's a long story if you rather go back home you can"

"I've got time, I don't have any plans" he looked over at me and sighed.

"Very early this morning our mother had returned, she went to go wake up Marshall. When he woke up he freaked out when he saw her then took Marley and I'll guessing went to see you since you had Marley. I had thought you, Marley, and him went to OOO City together but I see I was wrong. He was driving and he had crashed, he's in a coma right now and will be staying in OOO City til he's better. I'm going up there to watch after everything and give updates."

I was stunned, it was a lot to take in. I can't believe he went all the way to OOO City and got hurt, poor Marshall. I have to go with Leroy to see him, but school. Screw school Marshall's more important, I can miss this week.

"I'm going with you." I stated bluntly.

He looked at me at if he were trying to tell if I was being serious or not. I stood up and said it again but more sternly this time. "I'm going with you."

"Why?" he got closer to me and looked me in the eyes tilting his head in confusion.

"Because I want to see my best friend." he smiled when I said best friend. "What?"

"You're not dating him?" why did he have to say that.

"No I'm not."

He smiled when I said that and got closer to me, I could smell his cologne, it wasn't that bad.

"I'm not comfortable with you being that close to me." He just smiled bigger and got closer, I tried to back up but I got cornered. His body was only inches from mine.

"Shh" he moved his hand up to cup my face.

I tried to turn my face away but his grip was too strong. I closed my eyes waiting for it to be over, but nothing ever happened he just held my face, looking at me.

"Fionna" he whispered in my ear.

"Le-Leroy get a-away." What took me so long to speak?

He let go of my face and backed up enough to where I had space. Still staring at me he grabs his phone and quickly takes a picture of me. When I finally snap back to reality I try to take his phone, he just holds it above me.

"What the fuck Leroy! Give it to me!" He just smiles and continues to hold it above me. "Leroy!"

I'm about to kick him in the balls, I can tell I'm fuming. He starts to get beet red and puts his other hand behind his neck.

"Uh Fionna well Isortofhaveacrushonyou" he said it so fast I couldn't fully tell what he said. "When I came with Marshall to pick you up Monday I couldn't help but see how hot you look. Then you started coming over every day to be with Marshall, had me thinking you were dating him. When you said you weren't I decided to take advantage of it. It would of been a one time thing."

"So you just wanted to fuck me then ditch me? In case you didn't realize this part, Marshall likes me, did you think about how that would of hurt him? Do you think your all that? Because you're not, the universe does not revolve around you!" I was so furious I stormed past him and out of his room, through the living room and towards the door. I was so ready to leave this place.

"Fionna wait!" I could hear his footsteps coming down the hall.

"Pick me up at midnight so we can go." Once he got to me he nodded.

I walked out the door and towards the truck, I got in abs started driving home. I checked my phone seeing that Marcy called me, I called her back and she answered on the second ring.

"Hey Marcy, what's up?" A high pitched squeal came out, I had to bring the phone away from my ear.

"Oh my gosh Fionna, today was the best day of my life!" I could hear her giggling, she never acted like this before, at least around me.

"What happened Marcy?"

"I went on a date with Giovanni Bubba Gumball!"

"That's so great Marcy. So how was it?"

"It was so amazing, we went to this really fancy restaurant then to the movies, he put his arm around me and everything! He even asked me out again, I don't think I've ever been happier." I could hear her sigh with happiness.

"I'm really happy for you but I got to go, I'm driving. Talk to you later Marcy." I hung up and finished driving home.

I parked the car and went up to the apartment, I packed some clothes for the week and waited for it up be midnight.

A/N: So I realized I didn't update for almost two months and I'm really sorry for that, school has been keeping me so busy. But I'll be updating one or twice every month now.
