I look up at the poor pixies who have to work the sails. They look so tired and sad. They're being forced to waste all of their magic energy to make this boat fly. I can't believe the lengths that mongrel Hook will go through just to satisfy his neverending hunger of greed.

"Admiring the work Linda Darling?" someone asks from the very top deck. I narrow my eyes instantly. I'll never forget that voice. I turn over to face Hook. He'll pay.

There's got to be some way that I can stop those pixies. Maybe if I make them fall asleep, their pixie dust will run out. I quickly cast a spell over them with a flick of my wrist. Slowly, their eyes start to close. They drift onto a nice slumber, but the pixie dust still holds strong. Great, now what?

Hook just laughs on the sidelines. "There's nothing that you'll be able to do to stop them. They have to keep flying the boat until I tell them to stop."

"Then I'll have to make you tell them," I say through gritted teeth. I step towards him with my head held high. I will do whatever it takes to free these children and get them out of here with me, and then I'll destroy this boat.

Hook raises his eyebrow at me. "Are you challenging me to a duel Miss Darling?"

"You bet I am." I stand in my fighter's stance.

He brings out his sword from it's sheath. "I usually don't like to battle unfairly," he starts, running his eyes over all of my severe cuts, "but I'll make an exception this once. After all, what's better than knowing I have a sure shot of winning?"

His coy expression only makes me angrier. "I may be wounded, but that won't slow me down now. Not when I have someone as evil and cruel as you for an opponent."

My dogs bar their teeth at Hook and growl, which makes the Captain chuckle even more. My heart is racing one hundred beats per second and my thoughts cloud my mind as I go back in time, trying to remember something about Captain Hook. Soon, I'm having a very short flashback.

"Your meal for the evening is crocodile soup sir," the waitress says to him in a seductive manner.

"Ah, my favorite delicacy. You've done me well Serita."

I hide behind the wall just outside of the room, waiting to be called. In my hands is the bowl of soup, it's putrid smell wafting into my nose. I scrunch up my nose, trying to to inhale anymore. I don't know what Captain Hook finds delicious about crocodile soup. I think it tastes disgusting.

I hear two sharp claps. That's my signal. I spring to attention and walk into the room. Serita leans over on the table in front of the Captain, her bum poking out a bit to appeal to him. He plants a sloppy kiss on her nose before turning to face me with a grin.

Serita is an island woman who works as a waitress at Pirate's Harbor. We are docked for the night so Captain Hook requested her because she also is a part time cook and makes the best crocodile soup in town. She's always wearing something to make her lips bright red and her outfits are always extremely revealing.

Hook closes his eyes and takes a deep sniff of the soup. How he can smell it from so far away, I don't know.

"Mmmm. Crocodile soup. Don't keep me waiting girl. Bring the soup here."

I quickly shuffle over to him as fast as I can, but my chains can't keep up. I gasp right before I trip and the soup goes flying all over the waitress.

"You insolent child! Go back to the servant's quarters immediately and don't come out for a week! Less food for you!"

She slaps me on the cheek and I begin running out of the room, on the brink of tears. The last thing I hear is, "Oh Serita, so authoritative. I love women who take control." Then comes the big smooch.
