*» Chapter Three

Kaminari lazed around his dorm room, looking around the room for something to do. It was currently around two in the morning and he had just woken up from a three hour nap. He was thinking of just looking on his social media when he heard a loud growl echoed in the room.

Cussing softly to himself, he forced himself off his bed and put on some clothes. It was really just some shorts and an oversized sweater with a pikachu face printed on it. He left his room feeling pretty lazy, not really wanting to walk around. However, his stomach was growling and hunger wasn't something you'd like to feel at two in the morning. So the blonde forced his lazy ass down to the communal kitchen to find something to eat. Of course, Lady Luck wasn't on his side in that fine morning, so there was barely anything eatable in the fridge or the food cabinets. "Why the hell is there no food in the kitchen?" Kaminari asked, not directing his question to anybody in particular.

"That's because you've been snacking on all the snacks,"

Kaminari turned his head, spotting a certain Todoroki standing at the doorway. "Good morning to you too," Kaminari mumbled, going back to look through the cabinets once more to find anything that he could eat that didn't involve cooking or washing dishes.

"We could go out to buy something if you'd like?" Todoroki offered, walking over to Kaminari's side to help in his search. "There's a store down the road that's open twenty four hours a day."

"Sure," Kaminari replied, checking his pockets to see if he had any cash on him. And, as if Lady Luck did a whole 180, Kaminari could feel his wallet and phone in both his pockets. "Lets go right now!"

Todoroki smiled at Kaminari's enthusiasm and replied with, "Alright then."

The two teens entered the store, seeing it completely empty except for the cashier who was just staring at her phone. The store was pretty big and had countless shelves stocked up with different kinds of snacks and foods. "The hell, why have I never been here before?" Kaminari asked, seemingly to himself, as he skipped over to one of the shelves that held different types of chips.( I call them crisps coz I'm from the land of angry men and tea, but I'm calling them chips coz that's what most of the world calls them apparently?) Todoroki shrugged as he walked over to where the excited blonde was, taking a packet of chips off the shelf. He glanced at Kaminari and couldn't help but stare. The blonde looked both confused and excited, almost like a little kid at Disney World.

"There's an isle of chocolate over there," Todoroki spoke, pointing over to another isle near the back. Kaminari's eyes lit up even more as he grabbed Todoroki's wrist and ran over to the isle the other pointed to. For some reason, Todoroki allowed the other to drag him around the rest of the store, smiling slightly to himself about how cute the blonde was being.

"Lets get some ice cream!" Kaminari announced, receiving a weird look from the male beside him.

"Isn't it too early for ice cream?" Todoroki asked. Kaminari shook his head in response and told the other, "Its never too early for ice cream!" Todoroki huffed, trying to contain his amusement as he allowed himself, once more, to be dragged by the blonde. He was taken to a small freezer near to the chocolate isle and took only a couple of seconds to realise Kaminari was serious on buying ice cream at two thirty in the morning. 'Oh my God, he's serious.' Todoroki thought, watching Kaminari eagerly look inside the freezer, probably wondering which he should choose.

It took them both around thirty minutes, but they finally left the store, each holding a plastic bag full of snacks and food with an ice cream in hand. Kaminari had chosen a strawberry ice cream in a cone while Todoroki just had a small cup of banana flavoured ice cream. "Man, we took way longer than I expected," Kaminari said, looking over at Todoroki who nodded silently. Kaminari nodded along with him taking another lick off his ice cream. He then noticed Todoroki hadn't even touched his ice cream. "Aren't you going to eat that?" Kaminari asked, blatantly referring to the cup of ice cream Todoroki held in his left hand. Todoroki seemed to nod before setting ablaze the small cup.

"What the hell, bro?!" Kaminari screeched, backing away abruptly so as to not get burnt. Todoroki switched hands and froze the cup, turning it back to its original frozen state. "It's called burnt banana," Todoroki said, receiving a bewildered look from the blonde. "I always burn my ice cream like this, it's like a ritual."

"Whatever you say, dude," Kaminari said, still a little shaken up by the other teen's strange actions. "Wait," a Kaminari said, stopping dead in his tracks. Todoroki stopped a couple feet away from Kaminari with a curious look in his eyes. "What did you just say?"

"It's a ritual?" Todoroki asked, wondering what the blonde was getting at. Kaminari shook his head. "No, before that."

"It's called burnt banana?" Todoroki asked, a little more curiously. Kaminari looked amazed, yet also happy. "Holy shit," he mumbled, running up and hugging the other. Todoroki jumped at the other's actions, now extremely confused and a little scared. "What's wrong?" Todoroki asked, hugging Kaminari back, unknowing what else to do at that moment.

Kaminari pulled back a little, though not enough so they weren't hugging, with the widest smile he had ever done and said, "I think you're my soulmate."

Okay I know this is short, and slightly rushed, but I thought this would be a pretty cute way for Kaminari to find out Todoroki's his soulmate. . . I dunno ?
