"I've done it! I've done it!" Chloe yelled as she ran down the hallway into her twin brother's room. "Rush," she said, leaning on the door way out of breath, "I did it." He turns off his music and rolls his eyes, he had already known she was coming. "And what in particular did you do, my dear sister?" "I made it float. I've been working on this for 6 months and I finally did it!"
"Did what?" our dad, the president of Panem, said as he walked through the door. "I made things float! Come see! Come see!" The energetic girl said as she sprinted back to the room they had made into her lab. In the room there were papers strewn all over the place, broken blocks, marks on the wall, and just a mess in general. In the center of it, the was a cluster of floating blocks on a table. "This is extraordinary! It should be shared with all of Panem!" dad exclaimed.
About a week from then, Chloe was to go on live TV and broadcasted to the entire Capitol. "And now on air with us is the Capitol genius and she's only 17. Please welcome Chloe Snow." Ceaser Flickerman announced. The girl was dressed in an orange crop top and some cargo pants. She refused to wear dresses, she hated them. "So, Chloe, Explain what your wearing." "Oh, please Ceaser. You know I hate dresses." The audience laughed. "So, what has our neighborhood genius come up with today?" "Well, I have happened to be blessed with the ability to learn how to make objects float." A collective gasp comes from the crowd, along with Ceaser. "Well I'll be darned, have you really?" "Yes, I have indeed. President Snow has seen it." "Speaking of the president he's making an announcement, he's making it right now actually." he says checking his watch. "Let's turn it on, shall we."
AN: I guys! No, I am not dead. I am sooooooooo sorry I haven't updated in forever. School has started so i've been busy with homework, colorguard, judo, BJJ, and lots of other stuff.
