{Joey's POV}

I sat next to Connor in his car, he just picked me up to go on a hike somewhere in the hills. I stared out of the window and followed a big, 'U' shaped cloud drifting by on the blue LA sky.

"You seem tired." Connor interrupted my daydreaming, focusing on the road.

"I guess I am, I wanted to get out before Shane woke up." I explained, with my head still in the clouds.

"Shane?" Connor questioned.

Wait.. Dang. He didn't know. How am I supposed to tell him?! Like:

'Yea, Shane and I are gay and sleeping in the same bed because yolo!' Yeah right..

"Err.. Yes. Shane. Dawson. He gets kind of grumpy when you wake him." I stuttered with my lisp.

Connor stopped at the stop sign in front of him and looked at me.

"Are you guys.."

"Yes." I said, looking out of the window again.

I quickly added: "but we don't want to tell everyone yet. I mean, it's like a week ago it happened.. And-"

"Oh Joey, don't worry! I won't tell anyone. Oh and congrats on your boyfriend!"

Why do I always say stuff while I can't? Shane won't appreciate it either. What does he even see in me? I mean, the beauty on the outside is easy to recognize and such, but.. The real beauty, which is deep inside is harder to see, and will only be seen by the ones who truly love you, truly appreciate you and accept you although they know your flaws.

Shane had to be one of those who truly loved you.

I had to be blushing, but Connor just smiled and started talking about his everything: cats.

Besides cats, Connor liked swimming and, because he would be really athletic he was down to hike with me. As he would say; 'any day'.

"And if I get back to Minnesota I'll give Bree and Sam all the toys I've gotten in the mail. They love it! They are so sweet and I wish I had a kitty here.. Hey Joey, do you like cats? Have you ever had one? What color do you like on a cat? I like red cats a lot! But other colors are also fine with me. Oh and what about hairless cats? I have to admit I kind of like them. At first I was like 'eww' but than I saw one at my friends house and I loved him! Besides cats, wouldn't it be awesome to have a tiger? I just can't imagine how cool it wou-"

"I am surprised you don't own like 54 cats." I managed to get trough the nonstop recording called 'Connor Franta's obsession with cats' coming from his mouth. To me it seemed like he had recorded his whole cat story and had it in saved in his car for whenever someone was with him.

"Well, if I wouldn't have lived with Ricky, Kian and Jc and wouldn't have had Wishbone (which is Jc's dog) I would live with a dozen of cats right now." Said Connor.

"But hey, we're here!" He continued while he turned the wheel and parked in one of the parking spots in front of the path to the Runyon Canyon. I grabbed my water from the cabinet and got out of his black vehicle.

We climbed the path till we came at the end of the path and got to decide whether to take the advanced, regular or easy route. Connor and I both agreed to go the regular way since easy is easy and we are better than easy.

All sweaty I looked around for a place to rest and saw a big flat stone. I patted Connor on his shoulder and pointed at the stone.

"I'm there first!" I exclaimed and ran off.

"Oh no you're not!" I got back. Soon he caught up with me and even passed me.

I just wandered the last part to the stone and found Connor sipping his water on the rock.

"Con da Bon strikes again!" He laughed at me.

"Oh shut up!" I said sitting down next to him on the yellow stone.

We just sat there and I filmed a little vlog.

When I started cleaning my camera's lens Connor got up and kicked a couple of little stones away. I looked at him questioning so he responded; "Gotta go to the toilet. Be right back okay?"

"Sure." I lisped. And he ran off to a pile of big rocks. The toilet was kind of far from our stone so he had to run to actually 'be right back'.

That lisp is so annoying. I have to get that fixed as soon as possible. I got my phone out of my pocket and typed a message to Shane.

He had last checked his phone this morning. I wonder who kept him busy.

Joey: Hey!

Joey: Ummm so could you do me a favor and

I was typing and wiped the sweat from my head again. Suddenly I had the feeling I was being watched.

"Connor! Really funny Connor come on here now! We better continue."

But we'd never continue.

"NOW!" a low male voice yelled from right behind me. I jumped up and turned around. In a flash I counted 4 men dressed in black. I got pushed over to the ground and grains of sand sticked to the wound on my neck. Desperately I tried to get the sand out of the wound and call for help at the same time. "CONNO-" I yelled. One of the men pushed his hand on my mouth and pushed my head down half into the sand, so it covered my eyes and I couldn't see anything anymore. I try to get it out but my hands were also pushed into the sand. I wildly tried to get my hands out of the man's grip.

"Injection gun. Hurry, he's getting wild. Wilder than expected." The low voice said again.

Expected? Do you know me? Do I know you?

An intense pain sent from my leg went trough my entire body as I got injected and I slowly lost control over my body. I remembered the low voice. I know one dude with a low voice like that. But he couldn't be it right?

He would be at home with my boyfriend. He had nothing planned. Nothing.

The pain became worse.

Someone tied my hands against my back. I tried to call one last time. "CON-"

My head was being pushed in the sand. It filled my mouth. I Couldn't breathe.

And everything turned black.
