*Ashley's POV*
It has only been a few weeks of training for me to figure out how my power works. It wasn't that hard but I couldn't explain it any easier either, it was like I've known how to use it,wield it,summon any kind of weapons I like, make it fly, summon shields and I could throw my weapon and teleport to it so that's pretty neat. I also found out that when I wield it by hand it has more impact so that's good, I get to have fun in the battlefield and not just stand around and throw daggers at my enemies, of course I can't summon swords out of my range, it only spawns around me like my aura. Although using my magic quite a lot makes me pretty exhausted fast especially when I'm teleporting and how much weapons I've been spawning so I can't keep teleporting willy-nilly or I might die from low blood sugar. I tell Baron that I'm ready for my first mission and he tells the group to meet up at the out edge of Quadrant 3 tonight. The outer edge is the military posts, its like their second wall and its heavily protected by guards. Once night struck I decided I'd save up my energy and ride a taxi there. As I enter the Quadrant 3 area I see Keith,Baron,Jenny and Jade there in a group, I run to them and ask"So? Whats the plan" Jenny answers as she brings out her high-tech gears "we're gonna go inside and steal a key card to the outside" "Wait what! Are you crazy!" I question in shock, Baron steps in the conversation "well most of our prophecy missions requires us to go outside and to go outside we need a red keycard, this may be the number one security ever but with your magic the odds of you getting us caught is low" I reply with a sigh "what are we gonna do then?" Jenny pulls out a machine and it projects a map "so right now there are least amount of night watchers of fifty but since its Tuesday today and its midnight more watchers are about to come making it harder by raising the watchers by two-hundred and fifty. They're gonna come in trains but I've delayed them by putting a fake train, this should give us time. What you need to do is teleport your way up to the watcher's post and use this machine and copy the red keycard onto it and leave" I begin to get hazy but I understood everything she has said and so I make my move. I go inside the military post and I can already see Keith and Jade sneakily taking out a few guards for me. This should be clean fast and easy seeing how much of time I've been given. I find my way to the watcher's roof by throwing Javelin and teleporting across and I see a trap door leading down I go down only to get caught by three guards but fortunately before they could sound the alarm I took them out with ease. I go up to the control panel and took the red key card from the slot and inserted into the machine that Jenny gave me. I grab my walkie-talkie and tell Jenny that I've inserted the red key card and its copying but I hear a distress sound coming from Jenny "uh good job Ash... but you better get out of there fast because 200 guards didn't seem to fall in my trap and is heading your way with a rocket launcher!" I look over the post window to see 200 militaries running with a machine gun and mini guns and four of them aiming a rocket launcher at where I am. I quickly grab the copied key card and teleport my way out of there, not looking back I hear the watcher's post get blown to smithereens but I was lucky enough to get out, but unfortunately I get shot to my abdomen and some flesh cuts. I fall down but Jenny catches me and takes me to Baron's truck. As Baron steps on the pedal Jade starts to throw smokes to lose them "Good job soldier its good to see you alive" Keith tells me as he cleanses my wounds and puts bandages in it while Jenny takes an x-ray to remove the bullets from inside. Jenny tells me with a relief "miss Ashley you're officially a badass" Keith tells me with a relief as well "don't worry as well you'll only be picking with the military just once and you'll feel all better tomorrow." I give Jenny the keycard but not before I faint out on exhaustion. I wake up in my bed and I get to the living room only to see Jenny giving me an envelope "whats this?" I ask, she tells me with a smile "oh its money the team gets it for doing missions like this." Well how about that I guess I've already found myself a good paying job. I turn on the TV to find a news channel talking about the explosion last night. They said that they've reported that it was just a demon and is gonna look for leaks in the magic barrier. Phew I almost would've died I guess you could say I'm a pretty lucky girl.
