it's been 2 days since my date with peter, which means it's valentines day.. yay. on the bright side, i woke up to a cute text from him.

10:39am: good morning peter. happy
valentines day to you! come over later? ❤️

10:40am: I'll be there.

i was so happy, and content with my life.

peter came at 12 pm on the dot. he showed up with chocolate, a big bear, flowers, and balloons. his hands were a little full..

"i really hope those are for me.. because the only other person who lives here is my mom, and that'd be weird." i joked.

"you're a dork. they're for you. i didn't know what to get, so i just got everything." peter said struggling to carry everything.

i giggled. "let me help you."

we sat everything down on the kitchen table and i just looked at everything, and smiled.

"thankyou peter. this is amazing. you didn't have to get me anything. i'd be happy with just your company." i said hugging him. after we pulled away, i did it. i leaned in and kissed him. when our lips touched, there were sparks.. this was supposed to happen. we were supposed to happen.

"that was my move!" peter said laughing.

"check mate." i said laughing.
this time, he leaned in and kissed me. we stood there over all his amazing gifts, kissing. it felt good, it felt real. i couldn't quite explain what i felt, but what i did know, is that this boy really has my whole heart.
